The Switched at Birth stars were joined by on-screen brother Lucas Grabeel.
During the SAB panel earlier this morning (Friday, January 11), it was announced that an all ASL (American Sign Language) episode will be airing in March.
The storyline puts the audience in the middle of a student uprising in which the very essence of their deaf identity is at stake and will feature open captions for hearing viewers.
“I’ve been wanting to do an all-ASL episode since the series began, and the storyline we’ve been focusing on this season gave us the perfect opportunity. It’s an exciting, visual, empowering story of kids who are different fighting back, and it allows our audience to experience the world as our deaf characters do. We’ve been building to this for 39 episodes and we’re all thrilled to be the first to try this,” series creator and executive producer Lizzy Weiss shared.

In the movie, a young Amish woman (Leclerc) makes her first naïve journey to the outside world in a search for her birth mother (Stringfield), a wealthy estate owner who is dying of cancer.
When she finally finds her, she isn’t expecting the woman’s greedy husband to be scheming to steal her entire estate, and is soon caught up in a tangled web of deception as she desperately tries to get closer to the mother she never knew.
The Confession will premiere on Saturday, May 11th @ 9PM ET/PT on Hallmark.
