Katie Stevens is looking back on her 2010s and all the great things that have come from it.
The 27-year-old actress and singer has had a wild ride since she broke into spotlight, making the top 10 finalists on the ninth season of American Idol in 2010.
Since then, Katie has transitioned into acting with prominent roles on shows like Faking It, and currently The Bold Type.
“This decade started with me standing up in the middle of math class to go audition for @AmericanIdol, struggling to find myself in LA, gave up on music and started acting, auditioned over and over again and heard a million no’s, until @mtvfakingit changed all that!” she started out.

The newly married couple stayed at the Palafitos-Overwater Bungalows at El Dorado Maroma by Karisma to celebrate their nuptials, as well as Katie‘s 27th birthday.

The news was just announced this week that the former Glee star will return to our TV screens on the Freeform show.
Chord will guest star as Evan, “Jane’s beloved older brother who is similarly type A. As a little sister, Jane has always looked up to her brother and is excited to welcome him to New York. But most importantly, she’s excited to introduce her brother to the other important man in her life — Ryan,” EW reports.

After almost six years of dating, the Bold Type actress tied the knot with Boys Like Girls guitarist and music producer Paul DiGiovanni in front of 250 guests on Saturday (October 12) just outside of Nashville Tenn., People reports.
Katie‘s Bold Type co-star Meghann Fahy and her friend Betty Who sung as she walked down the aisle.
Katie wore a fitted, long-sleeve Flora gown and L’Dezen jewelry.
“I really did keep Paul in mind when I was choosing my dress,” Katie told the outlet. “He’s seen me in so many red carpet looks and gowns and everything in between, but I wanted to look like the girl he’s in love with [on our wedding day].”
The couple exchanged custom vows before heading to the reception and after-party. Paul‘s groomsmen, his Boys Like Girls bandmates Martin Johnson and John Keefe, performed at the reception.
“I’m going to be that bride at the bar in my wedding dress not really caring about anybody who’s looking at me!” Katie Stevens added.
