Kay Panabaker pulls a long knit scarf around her neck in this new shot from WhoWhatWear.com.
The 20-year-old actress opened up to the site about her personal trends versus her character Daphne’s and some of her favorite looks. Check it:
On her love for knee-high socks: “One thing I loved through the whole shoot was the knee-high socks; I really like the look of a tall boot and the sock coming out a bit over the top. That’s something I’ll definitely incorporate into my day-to-day look.”
On Daphne’s style: “Wardrobe is everything to me, it really defines the character. There are so many times when I will say in a fitting, ‘No, this is too edgy for Daphne, it’s too hard,’ because she has such a specific sense of style.”
On where she shops to find the perfect pair of jeans: “Jeans are impossible for me to find, but Levi’s has really figured out a system that makes you feel great. I go to Steve Madden for fun heels, Nordstrom for everything, and Urban Outfitters for great accent pieces.”
Kay Panabaker is spotted backstage at the Blue Valentine screening after party during AFI FEST 2010 presented by Audi held at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood late last week.
The 20-year-old No Ordinary Family actress caught up with TooFab at the party and dished about big sis Danielle, missing some types of exercise and wishing for powers. Check it:
On the exercise she loves: “When I was getting ready to do ‘Fame,’ I was doing lots of dance classes and Pilates. I miss the dancing, and the Pilates. I mean, working out is good for the mind, it’s good for the body, and it’s good for the soul. [But] I hate getting up when I don’t have to work, and my sleep is more important to me than working out!”
On having a sister and best friend all in one: “I like it because I can always rely on her for advice on business, boys, friends, make-up and wardrobe choices. We’ve got each other for everything, which is great.”
On wanting powers just like character Daphne: “I want the ability to read people’s minds. People are two-faced in their minds, so you can see if they are thinking good things about you or just saying them.”
