Kaya Scodelario lines up in a row with costar Nicola Burley at the premiere of Wuthering Heights during the 55th BFI London Film Festival held at the Curzon Mayfair on Saturday night (October 22) in London.

The 19-year-old actress tweeted that she took her mom to the big event: “On route to the Wuthering Heights premier in London with my mummy, she looks unbelievably beautiful!”

Kaya told The List about preparing for the period piece, “I didn’t read the book before shooting the film, and I didn’t watch any of the previous film or TV versions. [Director] Andrea [Arnold] said not to drive myself crazy worrying about how somebody did the role 20 years ago. We weren’t even given full scripts, just the lines the day before. Once it came out that the actor playing Heathcliff, James Howson, was black, I realised what a big thing the story was. I realised that this version was going to divide people, but I’d much rather do something that gets people thinking and stirs things up a bit.” More Here! »

Based on the classic novel by Emily Bronte, the movie tells the story of a poor young English boy named Heathcliff is taken in by the wealthy Earnshaw family where he develops an intense relationship with his young foster sister, Cathy.

Wuthering Heights is out in the UK on November 11.

Kaya Scodelario and boyfriend Elliott Tittensor make their way into the Burberry Spring Summer 2012 Womenswear Show held at Kensington Gardens in London on Monday afternoon (September 19).

The 19-year-old actress posted on her Twitter account of the day, “Exciting day ahead! Me and @ETittensor on route to the Burburry show… #lfw.”

Elliott Tittensor plants a kiss on girlfriend Kaya Scodelario‘s cheek as pose for a portrait for Jaeger LeCoultre during the 2011 Venice Film Festival on Tuesday evening (September 6) in Venice, Italy.

Kaya, 19, just premiered her new movie, Wuthering Heights, the day before with her cast mates.

She tells MoneyControl about taking on the role of Cathy, “I never wanted to do period, I was terrified of period because I am not trained, I haven’t been to drama school, my mum is Brazilian. I never felt I’d fit in for a period drama at all.”

Kaya added, “She completely relaxed me instantly, she said I don’t like period either, it’s not going to be like that, it’s not going to be completley stiff and strange, it’s going to be different. And that really excited me.”

Kaya Scodelario hits the red carpet in a breathtaking gown as she premieres her new film, Wuthering Heights, during the 2011 Venice International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 6) in Italy.

The 19-year-old actress and her cast mates also attended a photo call for their film at the Palazzo del Cinema earlier in the day.

En route to the film festival, Kaya tweeted, “And so the journey to Venice begins!! Feel like a 5year old I’m so excited..”

The Playlist says of Kaya‘s role as Cathy in the film, “Kaya Scodelario, perhaps the best-known face in the cast after starring in four seasons of British TV hit ‘Skins’ (as well as cropping up in ‘Moon,’ among others), is a heart-wrenching revelation as Older Cathy.”

Dakota Fanning shields herself with an umbrella from the drizzle on the set of Now Is Good in London on Thursday morning (August 4).

The 17-year-old actress plays Tessa in the upcoming flick, a girl who is diagnosed with leukemia and compiles a list of things to do before she’s gone. Jeremy Irvine, pictured following Dakota around, stars as her love interest.

Costar Kaya Scodelario tweeted earlier this week, “Very fun day of filming.Running around a packed shopping centre with Dakota.she’s much healthier then me,my legs r hurting so bad #NowIsGood”

Dakota Fanning bundles up in a jacket after shooting a pivotal scene in London for her upcoming film Now Is Good on Thursday afternoon (July 21).

The 17-year-old actress stars alongside Kaya Scodelario (also pictured) and Jeremy Irvine in the film about Tessa (Fanning), a girl dying of leukemia who compiles a list of things she’d like to do before passing away. Topping the list is her desire to lose her virginity.

Dakota, wearing a pixie wig, is also spotted filming some scenes with on-screen parents Paddy Considine and Olivia Williams.
