“I was trying very hard not to tell my friends a lot of things,” she admits. “When I told them, they automatically screamed.”
Showrunner Julie Plec recently shared that she’s excited to introduce the new characters to fans.
“They are incredible. They are so cool, and they’re such good kids,” she explained. “Their characters are so lovely, and damaged, and [messed] up, and fun, and soulful… it’s a world that I am having such a good time playing in.”
Legacies premieres on Thursday, October 25th @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.

We’re getting our first look at Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell) as she heads to school at The Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted, along with Josie and Lizzie Saltzman, who happen to be Caroline Forbes’ and Alaric’s (Matt Davis) twin daughters.
The series will center around the school as the young adults come of age in the most unconventional way possible, nurtured to be their best selves…in spite of their worst impulses.
As they fight to protect their secret, their town of Mystic Falls and eventually the world, they will have to rely on ancient folklore and tales to learn how to battle their far-reaching enemies.
