Kellan Lutz gets his game face on in this new still from A Warrior’s Heart.
The first film to spotlight the sport, lacrosse is a contact sport and the objective of the game is to score by shooting the ball into an opponent’s goal, using the lacrosse stick to catch, carry, and pass the ball.
Out on DVD February 7th, A Warrior’s Heart follows Conor Sullivan (Lutz) who is in shock and denial over his Marine father’s death in battle.

“My character I liked because she’s a strong female character,” Ashley, 24, says in the featurette below. “Yes, she does fall in love with the hero of the film but it’s this battle and Brooklyn helps Conor through his problems.”

But arduous training in a wilderness lacrosse camp under the tutelage of his dad’s old combat buddy, Sgt. Major Duke Wayne, and finding a new love interest opens Conor’s eyes to the true meaning of maturity, sportsmanship and life.

The 26-year-old actor and costars Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser all stepped out at Summit Entertainment Comic-Con Party held at the Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday night (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.
Kellan tweeted, “I love Comic Con! Huge thanks to all the amazing fans I’ve met and got to hang out with! Go Poseidon;)”
Ashley, 24, kept it simple and chic at the party, wearing a M.C.L. by Matthew Campbell Laurenza bangle with her ensemble.
