The Lab Rats actress turned 21 years old on February 9!
To celebrate, Kelli and some friends hit up Topgolf for some fun on Saturday (February 11) in Las Vegas.
The group, which also included some of her family, played on the second floor of the entertainment complex, chowed down on the signature Rock Shrimp, and washed it down with some yummy margaritas (she’s of age now!) while enjoying some friendly competition on the greens.
“bout to kill these Vegas bday outfits [in an ultra positive way],” Kellitweeted.
“You sort of know what you’re signing up for when you step into the ‘Disney machine,’” she shares. “It’s been such a great experience that I’m very lucky to have participated in.”
Kelli adds about growing up in front of the cameras: “However, being a teenager and growing up can already be tough enough as it is…try having your awkward years put in front of a spotlight for the whole world to see.”
“The biggest pressure probably comes from trying my absolute best to please everyone while still trying to figure out exactly who I am. It’s hard, but this whole experience makes me the person I am today.”
Kelli is also pictured below at the Vince Camuto Holiday Dance Party in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (December 6).
Are you ready to watch Kelli Berglund in a completely different role other than Lab Rats‘ Bree? So are we!
The former Disney starlet is starring in Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love tonight on NBC, starring as the eldest Parton child, Willadeane.
“I think it was the perfect project to do outside of Disney as my first major role that people are going to see,” Kelli shares in a new interview.
“It’s nothing shocking—honestly, you could put Disney’s name on it and I would believe it was a Disney movie. It’s still very much appropriate to my audience that has been watching Lab Rats.”
She adds, “But I do like how in a very smart way, for my career and my acting, it shows a different side of my acting. It doesn’t have to be a crazy scandalous thing to show another side of Kelli and what she can do. The emotional stuff and the drama… that’s something that Disney isn’t so adamant on.”
The trio glammed up for the NBC and Vanity Fair event at NeueHouse Hollywood in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (November 2) and met up with Christmas of Many Colors stars Alyvia Alyn Lind and Kelli Berglund.
“I have wanted to post this photos [sic] for the longest time. These two have literally been there for me through everything,” Pariswrote, adding, “From laughing to crying, literally everything. They have seen me at my best and my worst I can always cound on them to make me laugh and for a shoulder to cry on.”
She continued, “We couldn’t stand each other at first haha. But they are family to me. You both mean the world to me.”
Paris and co-star Kelli Berglund have been sharing a slew of behind-the-scenes pics from the series on Twitter. Be sure to follow them both to see everything, including this gem below:
Kelli Berglund isn’t afraid of picking which team she’s on — Team Selena or Team Miley.
Speaking with Cliche magazine in her October/November cover story, Kelli opened up about looking at Selena Gomez‘ career as inspiration.
“I look up to people like Selena Gomez, who has kept a really good head on her shoulders and has a great career for herself,” she shared. “You know, I’m sort of following the same path as her. Some people sit there and are like, ‘Well, you can take the Selena Gomez path or the Miley Cyrus path,’ and I don’t necessarily agree with that because I do admire Miley as well for some of her views and opinions and the way that she is.”
Kelli added, “But, if I could have half of the career that Selena Gomez has, that would be a dream. She is the sweetest girl. I’ve met her in person and you hear nothing but good things about her.”
