Later in the evening, the 13-year-old actress was spotted with mom Erin, picking up some Mexican food and a cool drink at Starbucks.

“I can’t say anything. We’re pretty tight with that,” Kiernan told USA Today when they asked about upcoming storylines while promoting the show in New York City.
She added, “He [show runner Matthew Weiner] would kill me. Pretty much.”

The 13-year-old actress is in the Big Apple promoting the new season of Mad Men with her cast-mates. Just the night before, Kiernan stepped out of The Paley Center presentation.

On playing Sally Draper: “Sally and I live really different lives. The only thing we really have in common is that we’re around the same age, so we’re going through some of the same things. We are both growing up and finding ourselves.”
On her personal style: “My style changes a lot. I’m still sort of figuring it out and I go through different phases with my street style. I’d call it pretty mod right now — high boots and winter coats, especially during the fall season.”
On her friends: “I have a really great group of friends. I think they’re awesome. [My] being on TV doesn’t influence my friend circle at all. They don’t really care. They don’t judge me for acting. They’re just my best friends. I’m really fortunate.”

Danielle Panabaker tries her hand at some basketball inside the City Year Los Angeles Spring Break: Destination Education event held at Sony Pictures Studios on Saturday night (April 20) in Los Angeles.
The 25-year-old actress was joined at the event by Delirium star Daren Kagasoff, Diego Boneta, Joey King and Kiernan Shipka.
Danielle also stopped by the jcpenney booth to pick out their very own custom-made silk screened t-shirts designed by Nanette Lepore.
The event helped to raise $1.3 million to support the education of over 4,000 students who are at risk of dropping out.

Morgan: “I was grounded last year! I was the one who had organized everything – where we were eating dinner, booking the bus, taking everyone’s money and I had to go home after the dance!”
Kiernan: “I’m home schooled so I don’t even know if I’ll ever experience prom! But I really want to go – getting dressed up and going with someone you like…”
Sarah: “For my senior prom I found a Vera Wang dress for $99 on the clearance rack. I wanted something short and gold and had searched everywhere when I saw it. There was only one left and it was my size – it was like the heavens opened up!”
