The 23-year-old Riverdale star shared the exciting news on his Instagram account, that girlfriend Clara Berry is pregnant.

KJ Apa gets close with Clara Berry while out on a walk on Monday morning (April 12) in Vancouver, Canada.

The 23-year-old Riverdale actor wrapped an arm around Clara‘s shoulders as they walked and talked on their stroll around town, where they also picked up some coffees to go.

The couple were also seen laughing at Clara‘s dog, who was unleashed, on their walk as it was running circles around them.

KJ and Clara were last spotted out together late last month, just after she had completed her 14-day quarantine upon arriving back in British Colombia.

If you’ve been waiting for the streaming release of Songbird, you’re in luck!

It was recently revealed at that the movie, starring Sofia Carson and KJ Apa, will be heading to Hulu this month.

If you don’t know, Songbird was the first major production to film in Los Angeles during the pandemic in July 2020. It then premiered on demand and digital in December.

Here’s a synopsis: The COVID-23 virus has mutated and the world is in its fourth year of lockdown. Infected Americans are ripped from their homes and forced into quarantine camps known as Q-Zones, from which there is no escape, as a few brave souls fight back against the forces of oppression.

Amid this dystopian landscape, a fearless courier, Nico (Apa), who’s immune to the deadly pathogen, finds hope and love with Sara (Carson), though her lockdown prohibits them from physical contact. When Sara is believed to have become infected, Nico races desperately across the barren streets of Los Angeles in search of the only thing that can save her from imprisonment … or worse.

Songbird also stars Demi Moore, Bradley Whitford, Craig Robinson, Alexandra Daddario, Peter Stormare, and Paul Walter Hauser.

KJ Apa and girlfriend Clara Berry were spotted out and about together on Thursday (March 25) in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The 23-year-old Riverdale actor and the 27-year-old model held hands while walking by a Starbucks.

It’s been just over a year since KJ and Clara confirmed that they were dating. He posted a photo of them kissing back in February 2020.

Earlier this month, KJ and his friend/co-star Hart Denton released a new song together. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out “Atmosphere.”

In the most recent episode of Riverdale, after the Bulldogs lose several football games, Archie (Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) come up with a plan to boost school spirit. Veronica offered to pay the first player to score a $10k reward. She also motivated Archie with a kiss.

KJ Apa and Hart Denton‘s new song “Atmosphere” is out now!

The Riverdale co-stars dropped the track on Monday (March 15).

“HERE IT IS. Huge thanks to @whitecraneorigami for this art & to everyone else who sent stuff in. ‘Atmosphere’ is finally available at MIDNIGHT MARCH 14th (15th). You can pre-save on the 13th. I can’t wait for you guys to hear it 😻 @hartdenton,” KJ wrote on Instagram the week before.

“when this song comes out in a few weeks all I ask is you press play and put someone’s tongue in your mouth,” Hart shared on his account in February.

In case you missed it, KJ recently posed for some photos for Interview magazine, and in his feature, he opened up about the restrictions he feels being on Riverdale.

Last summer, Hart dropped his debut single “Inside Me,” and opened up about the meaning behind the track.

The 23-year-old actor also wore the same jacket that his co-star and friend Drew Ray Tanner wore the day before in an Instagram post.

KJ recently posed for photos for a new feature with Interview magazine, where he was interviewed by Demi Moore, and he opened up about being on Riverdale and how restricting it feels.

“I felt so free coming from a show where I feel like I’m in jail a lot of the time,” KJ said about going from Riverdale to Songbird. “There are so many restrictions on what I can and can’t do. With this character, it was like, ‘Wow, this is what it’s like to really express myself in a natural way.’ I wasn’t covered in makeup or hair products. I had long hair and a beard. I just felt free.”

“There’s been so much pressure in playing Archie. I’m so grateful for the show and its success, but at the same time, there’s a lot of baggage that comes with that success,” KJ continued. “I feel like the only people I can talk to about my issues are my costars, the people who can really relate to me. Cole [Sprouse] is an amazing person to have on set, because he’s been doing this his whole life.”

He also opened up about being judged on portraying a comic book character and people not separating them in real life, compared to their character.

“I try and look at it from a fan’s perspective to understand the way they think. But there are times when I’m like, ‘Wow, they really have no idea that we are actual people. They can’t separate us from our characters,’” he added. “You don’t have that in other professions. You don’t dissect the life of a builder and start judging the decisions he makes in his life with his wife and kids. As an actor, I will be judged on everything: my political opinions, my opinions on drugs, my opinions on the people I want to be with. Everything. It’s something I’ve had to come to terms with.”

On filming Songbird during the pandemic: I don’t know how it was for you, but I remember thinking the movie was either going to be really good or really bad, because of the condition of the world and how we were forced to shoot during COVID. You and all these amazing people were attached, and I was like, “F-ck it. Let’s try.”

On the late Luke Perry: Having Luke on the show was such a blessing for me. When I was first experiencing success, Luke had a way of just quashing it and being like, “You’re only as important as the PA sitting over there.” He knew everyone’s name. Sometimes people talk about our job as this really important thing, like no one else can do it. Luke had the ability to be like, “Step on your mark. Stay in line. Go home. Show up on time. Treat people with respect.” I loved that about him.

On leaving home at 18: The hardest part was not being with my mom and dad. As I get older, I’m trying to be less career-driven so it doesn’t consume my life. Every time I get a hiatus, it’s like, “Do I shoot a movie or do I spend time with my family?” When I’m older, I want to be able to be proud of the decisions that I’ve made now.
