The 28-year-old actress, wearing an Honor dress, came out to support her former Downton Abbey co-star Dan Stevens.
Speaking with Access Hollywood recently, Laura dished about Lady Edith in the coming season
“She’s brave, Edith. She’s sort of tenacious. And she doesn’t give up and she kind of keeps it all in,” Laura shared. “I really think you really like her and side with her because she’s not giving up and letting life defeat her, in a way.”

The 28-year-old actress, who was joined by her co-stars, recently opened up about where we find Lady Edith this season.
“She really fell very much in love with Michael Gregson and he very much understood her and respected her as a writer and as a sort of modern woman, which is completely different from anyone she’d met before, or any match she had been placed in before,” Laura told Access Hollywood.
She continued, “He’s the love of her life. With the beginning of the season, you’ll see how devastated she is to not have heard from him. Having had to give up her daughter as well, it just makes the heartbreak even harder. So she’s in a pretty bad place.”

“It was really funny opening the newspaper and reading the reviews and going, ‘Oh, I’m playing the ugly one.’ I hadn’t thought of that,” she explained.
Laura added about how her real life is opposite, “I have so many amazing opportunities I go ‘Is it really fair?’ And sometimes it’s embarrassing I get so many treats.”
