Ross Lynch and Laura Marano stop by the Sirius XM studios in New York City on Monday afternoon (March 11).
The two took some time to pose for pics inside together, apart and with their moms. How sweet!
“March 17th, we have an episode coming up that I think you guys are going to really like. There’s a falling piano with many things happening in the episode,” Laura recently told JJJ of this weekend’s Austin & Ally episode. “Ally likes Austin, Austin likes Ally. Austin liked Kira and kinda wanted Kira in his life. But then Ally got over stage fright, Austin and Ally kissed, and Kira said, ‘Yes, I’ll be your girlfriend.’”
She continued, “So what I think we’re going to see is Ally really does want to focus on her career. She just got over her stage fright. She’s an independent, strong woman. So if Austin has this other girl in his life, then she’s not going to wait around. But Austin does want to be with Ally, so there’s some miscommunication going on there. We’ll see what happens!”
Ross added, “Austin likes her [Kira], but he likes Ally as well. I think he likes Ally more than he likes Kira. I think he probably doesn’t want to date Ally for the awkwardness, so Kira is his back-up plan almost.”

Laura added, “I think from the first episodes, they’re opposites, obviously. But they make such great music together and they’re a great partnership. The thing is, I don’t know. Hopefully they’ll always continue to be partners.”

On finding out she was Ally: “I had tested for the show a few days prior, and I was literally flipping out. The not knowing was honestly killing me. I knew I was going to find out pretty soon, so I was just waiting for that phone call. All of the sudden, I check my phone and find out that my really good family friend texted me [which said] ‘Congrats. This is such a big deal.’ … At that point, I called my mom and told her what was happening. She told me I got the part, and I finally let myself completely freak out.”
