Laura Marano even shocks herself with those out-of-control locks in this first look at her upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie – Bad Hair Day!

The 18-year-old actress stars alongside Good Luck Charlie mom Leigh-Allyn Baker.

The buddy adventure follows a high school tech whiz (Marano) who’s bound and determined to be crowned prom queen. But, on the big day, everything that can go wrong does go wrong, starting with her sudden and epically uncontrollable hair and her once lovely but now destroyed prom dress.

She soon comes to rely on a down on her luck cop (Baker) who’s in pursuit of a missing necklace that the teen unwittingly has in her possession. Prom day goes from bad to mad as the pair is pursued by a dogged jewel thief (Christian Campbell) on a wild ride across the city.

Look out for Bad Hair Day coming February 2015!

Remember this picture? How would you like a video to go with it now?

Ross Lynch grabbed his Austin & Ally family — Laura Marano, Calum Worthy and Raini Rodriguez — to listen to R5‘s latest single, “Smile” and the vid could not be any cuter if they tried for it!

“That song is so good, holy smoke,” Raini said from the backseat after the song played out. “I really like this song.”

Also, we’d like to give a shout out to Laura for safety and buckling her seat belt, even though the car is not moving.

We’re going to call it like it is — working with the Austin & Ally cast would be a dream come true for anyone and director Eric Dean Seaton is confirming it.

“I met @rossR5 @lauramarano @CalumWorthy @Raini_Rodriguez the day I returned from my honeymoon. To spend 10 hours in a plane, and come from a different time zone can make you feel a little off. But they made me feel right at home on their new show that had not even aired yet,” he wrote on Instagram with the sweetest message ever about Laura Marano, Calum Worthy, Raini Rodriguez and Ross Lynch.

He added, “Over the next 4 seasons I have had that same experience 11 more times. They are without a doubt, 4 super talented, honest, creative, wonderful people who have lifted my life and showed me what I hope my kids will be like one day — Wonderful human beings, who always give their all, care about their fellow man, and work at their craft. #Austinandally was created by two fantastic writers @Pickle_Pancakes that I have known since the 90′s. The show will live on TV forever but for me, this cast, creators, writers, and crew will always have a special place in my heart! #somethingsareforever.”

JJJ also stalked his Instagram for even more adorable pics. Enjoy!
