Lauren Conrad has gone red!
The 29-year-old fashion designer and author showed off her new hair color on Instagram over the weekend with her hairstylist, Kristin Ess.
“Clearly, I’m obsessed with @kristin_ess…” Lauren captioned.
Lauren and her Paper Crown partner, Maura McManus, are also featured on the first national cover of Flutter Magazine, which is a quarterly mag inspires brides and party aficionados to create the most swoon-worthy parties.

On fashion being her passion: “Television was just sort of an accident… I never felt really strongly about it. But fashion is something I feel passionate about. If I hadn’t done TV, I still would have ended up in the [fashion] industry, but I definitely wouldn’t be in the position I am now.”
On being basic: “I probably am pretty basic. But I’m also a pretty happy person, so that’s okay with me.”
On not being bitter about The Hills: “When I did television, scandal was always around me. And I think one of the best things [about that] for me is that your life becomes more big picture. You have to develop a thick skin really quickly. It toughened me up, which is good.”
Kiernan Shipka is all smiles while checking out Taylor Swift‘s show from inside Hyde Staples Center on Saturday night (August 22) in Los Angeles.

“Don’t wear something that you are terribly uncomfortable in,” Lauren advised. “I spent half my 20s in shows that made my feet numb and cocktail dressed I could barely breathe in.”
She added, “Every once in a while, I will still sacrifice comfort for fashion, but at the end of the day, what is the point of looking good if you feel miserable?”
