Lauren Conrad goes glamorous and sultry on the April 2014 cover of Allure magazine.
The 28-year-old entrepreneur opens up to the glossy about her chic California look, her coveted mane and more. Check it:
On how to master the California look: “Take any trend you want and relax it. That’s how California does it. If it’s silk button-up shirts that are in, you probably don’t button them all the way, and you cuff a sleeve, you know what I mean? It’s almost like how your outfit looks at the end of the day.”
On decorating her home: “If it was up to me, my home would just be over-the-top girlie and vintage but I share my home with a gentleman now.”
On how she’s maintained her relatively clean celebrity profile: “Doing reality television for such a long time made a big difference. People were in my bedroom. You have to represent yourself well no matter what you do.”
On her hair: “I can’t remember the last time I didn’t have extensions. Extensions are great. And they’ve come so far in the last few years.”

Lauren is also gearing up for December on her official site. She writes, “I have always thought the month of December should be just a little bit longer. Lauren Conrad shows off a little bit of skin on the January 2014 cover of Cosmopolitan.
The 27-year-old newly engaged entrepreneur opened up about her engagement, making mistakes and more. Check it:
On her engagement to fiancé, musician and law student William Tell: “I had no idea it was coming. I thought he would wait until he finished law school. He didn’t even ask my friends [about the ring design], which was a bold move. He said, ‘I know you, and I know what you like.’ And I love it. It’s perfect.”
On the pressure to get married: “You have the rest of your life to be married. Enjoy falling in love. When girls get caught up in the timeline, it becomes more about the wedding than the marriage. You should be with someone with whom you could elope this weekend and be happy.”
On making mistakes with friends: “Being on television all those years, I got to view my own behavior. One thing I realized is that I was too hard on my friends when it came to guys. Instinctually, I wanted to protect them. But then you come off as judge-y and people are reluctant to come to you with a problem. I had to cut ‘I told you so’ from my vocabulary.”
