'The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers' Gets Disney+ Premiere Date & Teaser Trailer!

The Mighty Ducks are back in action in the upcoming Disney+ series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers!

The new version of the hit movies will premiere on the streaming service on March 26th and the first teaser trailer was just released.

Emilio Estevez, who famously starred in the original films, reprises his role of Coach Gordon Bombay!

Here’s a synopsis: The Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. With the help of Gordon Bombay, they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game.

Also starring in the series are Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Taegen Burns, Bella Higginbotham and DJ Watts.

The original movies, The Mighty Ducks, D2: The Mighty Ducks and D3: The Mighty Ducks, as well as the animated series The Mighty Ducks, are all currently available to stream on Disney+!

Is 'Gilmore Girls' Coming Back Again? Find out Everything We Know!

Is it possible that the final four words in the Gilmore Girls Netflix revival weren’t the final four words at all?

Netflix’s chief content officer, Ted Serandos, reportedly told the
U.K. Press Association
that more installments could follow the revival.

“We hope [to do more.] We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped,” he said.

There are definitely fans who want answers to what many consider a cliffhanger at the end of the revival, but it’s hard to say whether Alexis Bledel, Lauren Graham and crew will want to come back for more.

Ted Sarandos cautioned that talks are in a “very preliminary” stage, and anything could happen.

Oy, with the poodles already!

Alexis Bledel & Jared Padalecki Reunite with 'Gilmore Girls' Cast!

Alexis Bledel (Rory) and Jared Padalecki (Dean) join some of their Gilmore Girls castmates while attending the show’s highly anticipated reunion held at the ATX Television Festival on Saturday (June 6) in Austin, Tex.

The two actors were joined by Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Kelly Bishop (Emily), Scott Patterson (Luke), Liza Weil (Paris), Milo Ventimigilia (Jess), and Matt Czuchry (Logan).

During a panel at the festival, the show’s creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said Gilmore Girls would never have been put on television if she created it today.

“Today, you don’t sell Gilmore Girls, nobody buys it,” Amy said (via Huffington Post). “It was a time when a network wasn’t looking for a cohesive brand. Their brand was about the individual voices of the show.”

There was another reunion happening at the festival – Lauren hung out with her Parenthood co-stars Mae Whitman and Miles Heizer. See the Twitter pics below!
