The cast of Glee is getting sentimental on Sunday (May 19) as it’s the show’s 10 year anniversary!

The hit musical show premiered on May 19, 2009, on Fox and changed the lives of many across the world.

Glee ran for six seasons, featured over 728 musical numbers, a concert film, and multiple soundtrack compilations. The cast of the show also embarked on two concert tours.

Members of the cast included Matthew Morrison as the McKinley High choir teacher Will Schuester, Jane Lynch as the mean cheer coach Sue Sylvester, as well as students Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Chris Colfer, Dianna Agron, Harry Shum Jr, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Alex Newell, Mark Salling, Chord Oversreet, Darren Criss, Melissa Benoist, Grant Gustin, Max Adler, Lauren Potter, Blake Jenner, and more!

Glee also had a ton of guest stars including Britney Spears, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Jeff Goldblum, Ricky Martin, Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Carol Burnett, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, and Whoopi Goldberg, among others.

Ahead of the show’s fifth season, star Cory Monteith passed away from a drug and alcohol overdose. The show honored the late actor in the third episode of that season with a tribute episode titled “The Quarterback”.

Stars from the show have gone on to appear on Broadway, London’s West End, perform sold out concert tours, music albums, TV shows, movies and more!

Lauren Potter, Sue Sylvester’s favorite cheerleader and sidekick on Glee, had some heartbreaking personal news this week.

Her engagement to Timothy Spear has now been called off.

“It hurts,” the 26-year-old actress and disability activist told People. “After we got married, I wanted to wake up and see him make breakfast for me. I loved him so much.”

She was even in talks with a wedding dress designer when everything fell apart.

Still, you shouldn’t feel too bad for her. Her mom said that this is “the first time” she’s seen her happy “in months. She’s looking forward to the future.”

As she should be. Lauren is making an appearance in the finale of Switched at Birth on April 11, and she’s even considering jobs outside of Hollywood. Stay strong, Lauren!

Allison Holker sticks close to husband Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss as they arrive for the 2015 Special Olympics Celebrity Dance Challenge held at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Friday night (July 31) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The So You Think You Can Dance alums were joined by Glee actress Lauren Potter and Allison‘s DWTS co-star Lindsey Arnold.

Just a few days before, Allison debuted some new designs for dance costumes at Dance Teach Summit.

“So proud and honored to share that This is one of my brand new costume designs with @tenthhousedance ! We wanted to deliver quality product for affordable prices and of course comfortablility. What do u guys think? Our launch date is AUGUST 24, 2015 make sure you check it out. Hope you enjoy!!! I’m so excited,” she wrote on Instagram.

Gina Rodriguez dolls up in a cute dress for the 2015 Gold Meets Golden event held at Equinox Sports Club’s West LA Flagship Lounge in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (February 21).

The 30-year-old actress was joined by her Jane The Virgin co-stars Andrea Navedo, Justin Baldoni and his wife Emily; plus Lauren Potter, Lolo Jones and Chasing Life stars Haley Ramm and Jessica Meraz.

Gold Meets Golden is a star-studded event bringing together Hollywood entertainers and medal-winning Olympians to support current US Olympic teams and athletes.

Another day, another star dishing their Valentine’s Day plans to JJJ!

Today’s featured star is Glee‘s Lauren Potter, who gave us the scoop on her ideal date!

For her real-life boyfriend Carter, she told us, a “candlelit dinner on the beach with spaghetti and meatballs and wine. We would have fireworks over the ocean.”

That sounds amazing! As for her on-screen love Darrell, Lauren said, “a hot air balloon ride over Lima, dropping water balloons on skanky cheerleaders then getting dinner at Breadstix.”
