A True 'Flash/Arrow/Supergirl/Legends' Crossover is Coming!

A True 'Flash/Arrow/Supergirl/Legends' Crossover is Coming!

Everyone seemed to really love the four-show crossover that happened last year on the CW — and we’re really looking forward to the next one!

Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will be delivering another four-show crossover, a TRUE one.

“Next year, we’re hoping to do a true four-way crossover,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg shared to a small group of press. “The great thing about our dear friends at The CW and Mark Pedowitz picking the shows up as early as they did, [it] has allowed us to start building the schedules for next season.”

He revealed that this time around, it will really be a real crossover, involving all four shows.

“The single hardest factor in doing the crossovers is actors’ availability because the shows keep going on. We’ve got four shows and you’re basically juggling four shows’ worth of schedules.”

“The thing that we didn’t really plan on — again because we weren’t aware that we were going to switch Supergirl from CBS to The CW and it was really going to be part of it — that was the one show that actually didn’t have built-in shutdown days, so all the other ones did,” Andrew added. “Because the show starts on Supergirl, Melissa [Benoist] ended up being heavily in The Flash and then in Arrow.

“So Supergirl was the show we needed to shut down the most and it was the one we didn’t have any opportunity to. Now that we’ve gotten the early pickup and we’ve started designing the seasons, we’re building in those dark days — and actually more dark days on Supergirl than the other shows — to make it a little easier.”

VIDEO: Rip Hunter Returns To 'Legends of Tomorrow' with Winter Premiere

Rip Hunter is back — and he has absolutely no clue who the Legends of Tomorrow are!

Arthur Darvill will make his return later this month on the show as the captain, returning from filming another show in the UK.

“They were very kind on Legends - Broadchurch is something that’s been going on for a while, so they had to work around that,” Arthur revealed in a recent interview of his absence from the CW show. “I was so pleased to finish off that journey on Broadchurch.”

But what about his return as Rip? “Yeah, I do come back, in some way, to Legends of Tomorrow… but I can’t talk about that! I always work on shows that you’re not allowed to bloody talk about…”

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will make it’s winter premiere on January 24th @ 9PM ET/PT on the CW.

Seven of our favorite shows are coming back to The CW.

The network just announced that Jane the Virgin, Arrow, The Flash, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Supernatural have all been renewed for another season.

“Over the past several seasons, The CW has built a schedule of proven performers, from our lineup of DC superheroes, to critically acclaimed comedies, to sci-fi dramas,” Mark Pedowitz, President of The CW, said in a statement. “Early pickups of these seven series now allow our producers to plan ahead for next season, and gives us a solid base to build on for next season, with original scripted series to roll out all year long.”

The jury is still out on The 100, iZombie, Frequency, No Tomorrow, The Originals, and Riverdale.

As previously announced, The Vampire Diaries and Reign have both been cancelled.

'Legends of Tomorrow' Return Episode Will Save 'Star Wars'!

'Legends of Tomorrow' Return Episode Will Save 'Star Wars'!

It looks like we all owe Star Wars to the Legends of Tomorrow!

When the CW show returns later next month, their entire mission is to save the movie franchise — by saving a young George Lucas.

Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim dished on the return episode, emphasizing that George Lucas has a profound impact on Ray (Brandon Routh) and Nate (Nick Zano).

“Because of circumstances, the time aberration in episode 209 is George Lucas quits film school. As a result, he never makes Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark,” he explains.

“As a result, Ray, who became an engineer because of Star Wars, and Nate, who became a historian because of Raiders, slowly start to lose their brilliance, because those things that inspired them to become who they are didn’t exist.”
