This Year's 'Arrowverse' Crossover Will Feel Like a Four Hour Movie

This Year's 'Arrowverse' Crossover Will Feel Like a Four Hour Movie

The Arrowverse crossover event is closer than we all think with just a couple of weeks to go.

In a new interview, EP Andrew Kreisberg revealed that unlike last year, where you could tell just which show you were watching — it won’t be like that this year.

“[It's] really, truly is a four-hour movie,” he says.

“Last season, it very much felt like, an episode of The Flash, and then it was definitely an episode of Arrow, and then it was definitely an episode of Legends,” Kreisberg adds. “This time around, you won’t know what show it is, [based on] what episode it is.”

He continues, “There’s a beginning to the story and then there’s an end to the story, and it covers the four hours. For that, we’re really proud. It’s huge, it’s the biggest thing we’ve ever done.”

The Arrowverse crossover starts on Monday, November 27th.

We’ll be saying goodbye to Captain Cold on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash.

Wentworth Miller just confirmed his exit from the two series on Instagram.

“Currently shooting some of my final episodes as ‘Captain Cold/Leonard Snart’ on the CW’s Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash. Grateful — now and in advance — to a pair of talented casts and hardworking crews … Thank you. … I’ve had a tremendous time playing this character. … It’s been an opportunity, an education and a f—ing blast,” he wrote.

This follows the news that Victor Garber, who starred as Martin Stein/Firestorm, will also be leaving the show to return to Broadway.

Caity Lotz Dishes About The New Season of 'Legends of Tomorrow' & Talks Sara's Love Life

Caity Lotz Dishes About The New Season of 'Legends of Tomorrow' & Talks Sara's Love Life

Caity Lotz is stoked about the return of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow TONIGHT on the CW.

Speaking with NKD magazine for their October issue, the actress opened up about what’s ahead of the team and her relationship with former “boss” Rip Hunter.

“Its really funny,” she says of what opens the season. “We’ll see who these people would be if they weren’t doing what they’re doing, but the main goal for the team once they reunite is to fix the timeline that they so badly damaged at the end of Season 2.”

And about Rip…”They’re always kind of at odds with each other, even when they’re on the same team. There’s definitely going to be a lot more butting heads.”

So what about Sara Lance’s love life? Will we finally see her in a relationship?

“I’m excited for her to have something a little more meaningful,” Caity shared ahead of the premiere. “I’ve had so many girls that are bi, or lesbian or just not sure say how much it means to them to be able to see a character on TV thats like them, and to see that and go, ‘Oh look, OK, I’m not weird, I’m not messed up, this is normal.’”

“To have that representation on TV and what it means to them has been the best thing about this character,” she adds. “The fact that we don’t make it this big thing about who she is — it’s not like, Oh, the bi girl. It’s just one thing about her, and that’s the way it should be handled.”

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs TONIGHT @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.

Executive producer Greg Berlanti added: “It’s a big life event for a few different people on the show…there are many life events that happen.”

DC's Legends of Tomorrow Reunite in Official Season 3 Trailer - Watch Now!

DC's Legends of Tomorrow Reunite in Official Season 3 Trailer - Watch Now!

Firestorm is ready to light things up in the official season 3 trailer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Here’s the new season’s official summary: With the Time Bureau effectively the new sheriffs in town, the Legends disband – until Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell) discovers one of them in the middle of his well-deserved vacation in Aruba. Seeing this as an opportunity to continue their time-travelling heroics, Sara (Caity Lotz) wastes no time in getting the Legends back together.

She reunites with billionaire inventor Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), the unconventional historian-turned-superhero Nate Heywood (Nick Zano), former member of the JSA Amaya Jiwe (Maisie Richardon-Sellers), and Professor Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (Franz Drameh), who together form the meta-human Firestorm.

Once reunited, the Legends will challenge the Time Bureau’s authority, and, in true Legends style, eventually run afoul of the Bureau when they recruit a hacker from the future, Zari Tomaz (Tala Ashe).

Against the wishes of the bureau, they welcome Zari to the team and continue their time travelling shenanigans, while insisting that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow premieres on Tuesday, October 10th @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.

Caity Lotz Weighs In on If White Canary Would Ever Meet Black Siren in the Arrow-verse

Caity Lotz looks stunning in her recent photo shoot with photographer Tyler Shields.

The DC’s Legends of Tomorrow actress went for a striking presence in the shoot and even posed topless in a few shots. Check them all out below!

In a recent interview, Caity opened up about whether her character, Sara Lance aka White Canary, would ever meet Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) on her show, or even Arrow.

“I don’t know if Sara will get to meet Black Siren,” she shared with TV Guide. “I feel like they have to [though].

Caity adds, “It would suck if you see the person that… is your sister, but it’s not your sister. I don’t know how that would feel for Sara and what would happen.”

A meeting between the two characters is still up in the air and nothing’s been confirmed — but JJJ is thinking about that upcoming crossover. It’s bound to happen, right?

DC Superhero Crossover on The CW Will Host Major Life Event

DC Superhero Crossover on The CW Will Host Major Life Event

Just last week during the TCA tour, the CW announced the exact dates that the DC Superhero Crossover would be happening — and now there are even more new details about it.

“It’s a full, four-episode crossover across the board,” CW president Mark Pedowitz shared. “This will be even bigger.”

Last year’s crossover was introduced in Supergirl‘s final moments, so having this as a true four-show crossover is exciting.

Romance is also in the air for the four-show special.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim adds, “There’s no way that we can top aliens last year, so let’s up the emotional content. I’m not saying the emotion is romantic, necessarily. We wanted there to be some really big emotional turns for our characters.”

“One of the differences about the crossover this year, as opposed to years past, is, we’re doing some big character moves that affect all four of the shows.”

Could this be when Barry and Iris get married? Or even Oliver and Felicity?

Executive producer Greg Berlanti, doesn’t confirm anything about that: “Our way of making the show bigger this year was to go even more personal. It’s a big life event for a few different people on the show…there are many life events that happen.”

The Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will air in late November on The CW.

'Legends of Tomorrow' Casts Muslim-American Superhero Because of Trump

'Legends of Tomorrow' Casts Muslim-American Superhero Because of Trump

Meet Legends of Tomorrow‘s newest superhero, Zari Tomaz, played by Tala Ashe.

For its upcoming season 3, The CW has signed on the Iraninan-American actress to portray a Muslim-American hacktivist from the year 2042.

The show’s executive producers reportedly created the character in response to the anti-Muslim rhetoric involved in Donald Trump‘s presidential campaign and first six months in office.

“A lot of my work as an artist has been about representing not only Muslim characters, but immigrant characters or third culture kids in an accurate, nuanced way,” Tala told BuzzFeed News. “I’m definitely looking to further do that on this show. I think it’s very powerful to see yourself expressed in media and speaking specifically to the Muslim-American thing. Because of the climate of our world and what’s going on, I think the depictions primarily in media and of course in the news have been overwhelmingly negative about Muslims and Muslim-Americans. So I think it’s even more essential.”
