Nashville's Lennon Stella Debuts Two Meaningful New Tattoos

Nashville's Lennon Stella Debuts Two Meaningful New Tattoos

Nashville actress and singer Lennon Stella turned 18 in August, and she has been taking full advantage of the milestone in at least one major way.

The songstress posted two photos to Instagram this week showing off two beautiful and tiny handwritten tattoos.

The first reads “Come together” in cursive script just below the inside of her right elbow.

“now more than ever… come together,” Lennon captioned the photo.

The second tat is even sweeter. It reads “love you, be good” in her mother’s handwriting.

“every time I left the house mom would say ‘love you, be good’ so I got it on my arm forever in her handwriting,” she wrote.

We’re obsessed. Between her new ink and her fierce new hair color, Len is giving us all of the style inspo.

now more than ever… come together.

Lennon Stella Debuts Stunning White-Blonde Hair Ahead of Ireland Trip

Nashville actress and singer Lennon Stella loves to play with her locks when she isn’t filming (remember when she dyed her hair pastel pink a few months ago?) and now she has gone for an entirely new color — white-blonde.

Sunday (July 30), the 17-year-old debuted her new locks on Instagram and Twitter, which are markedly shorter and lighter. The new color is a super-light, almost totally white blonde, and she looks fierce.

“Change,” she captioned one Instagram posing with her new hair.

Lennon & Maisy Stella Didn't Have Internet or Television Growing Up!

Lennon & Maisy Stella Didn't Have Internet or Television Growing Up!

Lennon and Maisy Stella look so ready for summer on the cover of Parade magazine, available now.

The sisters opened up about their show Nashville, fans and growing up with no Internet. Check it:

Lennon on growing up with the show: “It has been a big part of our lives. It really is a cool thing to be around the same people for so long. We have moved around so many times, our family is just a bunch of gypsies. The longest we’d ever lived in a house was a year. So it has been cool having this consistency.”

Maisy on their evolving plot lines: “It’s crazy because we’ve gone from going in the kitchen and getting a bowl of cereal and going to school to having super-intense, really detailed story lines. It’s fun to test yourself and challenge yourself with that.”

Lennon on their younger years in Canada: “We grew up on a farm with no internet, no TV, no phone. The most peaceful time of my life was our Sundays in Canada just making music and being outside.”

Lennon on Nashville fans: “It’s so crazy having people watch us grow up and love or hate our characters. And when the show got canceled [on ABC], it was an overflowing amount of love from people. We had no idea that there was that much love for it.”

Lennon Stella Learned How to Cry On-Screen From Co-Star Hayden Panettiere

Lennon Stella Learned How to Cry On-Screen From Co-Star Hayden Panettiere

Hayden Panettiere‘s character Juliette serves as a role model figure for Lennon Stella‘s Maddie in the musical drama Nashville, and, as it turns out, she is a role model for both Lennon and her little sister Maisy Stella in real life as well.

The on and off-screen sisters opened up about learning about acting from Hayden in a new video interview, revealing that she taught them how to cry on-cue (a skill both need to use often during filming.)

“Hayden is like the best person for advice,” Lennon tells Entertainment Weekly, “because she’s been doing it for so long and she really really cares.”

She also shared that in terms of crying, Hayden taught her not to hold her breath, but to start talking instead in order to channel the proper emotions.

“She knew exactly how to get it out of me.”

We knew the Nashville cast were close (they even celebrated the sisters’ dual graduations!) but we had no idea how much they helped one another on-set.

“I’m starting to get into it,” Lennon said, after Maisy said the show’s name without any hesitation. She adds, “I’ve watched like three episodes.”

“It’s so good,” Maisy added. “I’m on episode 11 and I can not stop watching it.”

Singer and actress Lennon Stella of Lennon & Maisy looks flawless always. (Don’t believe us? Look at her Instagram!)

On CMT’s Nashville, her character Maddie is recognizable from her waist-length, swaying blonde mermaid hair — but now she’s trying out a soft pink instead, a color she played with earlier this year but could not keep due to filming.

We. Are. OBSESSED. Lennon has been teasing going back to pink for a while now and we’re so glad she finally went for it!

Lennon just graduated high school and she totally deserves a fun new change. Hopefully she can keep the color for longer than a weekend this time!
