“I mean you know, he had to do what he had to do really, for himself,” Liam said on Wednesday (May 20) on Capital FM radio. “It’s like any other job really; sometimes you have to move on because you’re not enjoying what you’re doing as much.” He also added “of course,” when asked if he missed his friend.
“He wanted to go and spend some time with his family and missus,” Liam added. “We’re just going to carry on doing what we’re doing… We wish him [Zayn] all the best with whatever he goes into and stuff. We’ll just have to see what happens.”
“There’s a bit back and forth. We’re on good terms with him. I’ve never been very good at biting my tongue,” Louis said about his Twitter feud with Zayn. “Yeah, it’s all resolved.”
Liam said about him leaving, “At first we were a little bit angry, we were surprised. I think we all knew the general vibe that Zayn was feeling. You could sort of tell. There’s certain parts of this job Zayn loved and there’s certain parts…we were angry at first and then it was just more disappointed. We wish him the best of luck with whatever he gets up to. There’s no hard feelings.”
When asked if they thought of dissolving the group altogether, they said “no.” And Harry said they never thought about replacing Zayn either. Watch below!

“I think the guys, they’re always going to be friends,” Lance shared. “They were put in a situation that they didn’t know they were going to be put in. They came together on a television show so that they lasted this long as a group is a surprise to me.”
He added, “But hopefully the other four could go and do a little more music, but I see Harry leaving soon, and I don’t see another One Direction album after he leaves.”
