“We’re kind of in this bubble, where we just see each other mostly and no one else,” Lilan says. “Interacting with our fans, it makes us realize that ‘Oh, this story has a life outside of our little bubble’.”
Andi Mack has officially been renewed for a third season on Disney Channel — and the cast found out live on Good Morning America!
Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Asher Angel, Joshua Rush, Sofia Wylie and Lilan Bowden all sat down for a chat about the hit series on the morning talk show in New York City before it was revealed that they would be returning for another season — and they all freaked out!
The next new episode in the series will be “Cyrus’ Bash-Mitzvah!” and will premiere THIS FRIDAY, February 23rd and introduces turning points for several characters.
Then, in June, 12 new episodes from season two will air and season three will debut later this year.

Andi Mack season two has officially wrapped and star Peyton Elizabeth Lee shared a sweet note thanking everyone for the experience.
The 13-year-old actress also shared a group of photos from filming the season.
“Here’s to the friends that turned into family. The laughs that seemed to never end. The sweat. The tears. The love. The magical bond we share,” Peyton wrote. “I can’t formulate the words to explain how unexplainably happy I feel around these people. Andi Mack season 2 has come to an end but the memories we have made will last a lifetime. Here is to the best year of my life. I can’t thank you all enough for contributing to this experience. My heart belongs to you. xoxo”

The actress, who stars as the title character, took to her Instagram to react to the story about Cyrus having and struggling with his feelings for Jonah.
“We include. We support. We love. Everyone. No matter what. Not despite, but because of their differences,” Peyton writes. “There is no us. There is no they. There is only we.”
She continues, “Andi Mack celebrates the human spirit. In all of its glory. Hopefully our portrayal of a couple of teenagers living real lives and feeling real feelings inspires people to participate in conversations vital to any healthy relationship.”

But before that Saturday, you can catch the full cast in the brand new “Tomorrow Starts Today” music video, which will be out on October 20th.
In the season two premiere, Andi encourages Bowie to plan a future with Bex, Cyrus introduces his girlfriend, Iris, to Andi and Buffy; and Jonah invites Andi to the Space Otters’ party.
On the red carpet, Peyton met Sabrina Carpenter for the first time and it was the most adorable moment! If you didn’t know, Sabrina sings the Andi Macktheme song!
