Lilly Singh‘s new late night show A Little Late With Lilly Singh is getting more real!
The 30-year-old YouTube star shared a new video documenting the process of designing her new show’s set and seeing it come alive.
The half-hour program feature an array of guests where Lilly will conduct in-studio interviews as well as create and star in pre-taped comedy sketches and signature segments.

A Little Late will air at 1:35 AM after Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Tune in for the premiere on Monday, September 16th!

Speaking with THR recently, the 30-year-old influencer opened up about taking up the new role in her career.
“The doubt wasn’t whether this was exciting for me, it was whether this was a puzzle piece that would fit well in my existing life,” she shared. “I didn’t want to sign up for it and then be like, ‘I can only make a little time for it,’” she says. “I’m very much all or nothing.”
Lilly also discussed that her show will be a bit more relaxed than some others – but a desk is still a must!
“It’s actually a very functional thing,” she says. “You can store things behind it and you feel more comfortable because you don’t have to sit pretty.”
A Little Late With Lilly Singh premieres on September 16th on NBC.
The talk show host and influencer opened up about ditching her original social media name and changing it to @lilly.
“Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is @Lilly,” she started before telling her fans the story behind the original handle. “Nine years ago, I decided to make a YouTube channel and thought nothing of it. I didn’t think it would alter my life path, turn into a career and to be honest I didn’t even think I’d upload more than five videos. When prompted to choose a username I instinctively typed Superwoman because it had been my MSN messenger screen name (shoutouts millennials).”
Lilly continues, “Based on a song by Lil Mo and Fabulous, I used to call myself Superwoman growing up because like any kid I wanted so badly to deal with life’s obstacles like a hero. As I grew up, I held on to this belief that everyone could be their own superhero. Until this day, I truly believe that we have all the tools we need to be our own saving grace.”
“It’s been heartwarming and empowering to hear people address me as Superwoman, a name I worked so hard to live up to. But today as I type this, as the person I’ve grown into, I feel even more empowered by the name Lilly.”
“Lilly has become an even bigger hero than Superwoman on this journey through my life,” she says. “Lilly encompasses everything it took to get to where I am… and it’s a place I’m proud to be. And so at this time, it feels right to give thanks to the moniker Superwoman and to lay the cape to rest. Today my biggest and best super powers lay within Lilly and thus Lilly I shall be. Aka new handle is @Lilly. Wooop! Woop! Holla atcha girlllll 💃🏽💪🏽❤️.”

The escape room is a one of a kind experience tied to Joey‘s YouTube Original Series, and will be open to the public starting tomorrow, August 10th through August 27th.
The event, presented by Michael B. Jordan and Lupus LA, was a fun-filled afternoon with games, celebrities, and great food, as they raised much-needed awareness and funds for Lupus LA.
Lupus patient family members were able to enjoy the event free of charge.

The YouTube star uploaded a new video on Thursday (July 25) with the perfect click bait title, “I’m expecting…”, and we totally fell for it.
Lilly teases throughout the video, with pregnancy clues and gets friends involved, then reveals that she’s “expecting a late night show on September 16th!”
“I’m so excited and nervous at the same time,” she says. “I am putting my all into this show. I am so grateful to be in this position. I know what a big deal this is. I know what a historic deal this is.”
Her new late night talk show A Little Late with Lilly Singh will premiere on Monday, September 16th on NBC after Late night with Seth Meyers.
Earlier this year, Lilly announced on Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she would be getting her own show, taking over the time slot that Carson Daly was at with his show Last Call with Carson Daly.
