“Our hair is different because it’s the ’80s�I’d like to think of my own style as much more contemporary,” Lindsey recently shared with Allure as far as her Samantha differs from Kim Cattrall‘s.
She added, “For Samantha, it’s really blonde on top and really dark underneath, a lot of intentional roots, very shaggy, Blondie-style hair. As for the wardrobe, I’ve never worn so many crop tops, miniskirts, and spandex in my life, but it all really helps me get into character.”

AnnaSophia Robb snuggles up to a cute canine on the set of The Carrie Diaries in New York City on Monday afternoon (October 21).
Along with co-star Austin Butler, the 19-year-old actress was seen making friends with a few other dogs, including a Golden Retriever.

Lindsey Gort was also seen on set, filming a few other scenes.
“So far, we haven’t gotten to work together a lot, but you never know,” Austin recently dished to JJJ about Sebastian and Samantha meeting up during the season.

“I knew Samantha was the first of the [Sex and the City] characters I was going to introduce, and then I had to pray we found a girl that was exciting,” Carrie Diaries executive producer Amy B. Harris recently told THR. “I started to think, if we don’t find her, I’ll just rewrite it and she won’t come in this season and we’ll just keep looking. [Lindsey] just blew it out of the water. She looks like [a young Kim Cattrall], which scared me because that was just thing to get caught up in. And then she just had that thing: funny and sexy. She was really as hard as you can imagine finding in a person and that was phenomenal.”
