Timothee Chalamet slides into a pic with his gorgeous co-stars from Little Women during a special screening and panel event held at DGA in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (October 23).

The 23-year-old actor stars alongside Saoirse Ronan, Laura Dern, Florence Pugh, and Meryl Streep in the upcoming flick, which was written and directed by Greta Gerwig.

During the panel event, the cast opened up about how they all got into character, with Florence admitted that she and Saoirse actually wrestled on the set.

“Saoirse and I would wrestle occasionally,” she shared. “One of the last weeks of shooting, it was the scene where we had to wrestle…we’d been wanting to fight for a really long time. Just before it started, I went up to her and said, ‘Hit me,’ and she’s like, ‘What?’ And I said ‘Hit me in the face.’ We double-checked with the camera guy, and we did it. It felt great.”

Little Women is set to open on Christmas Day.

The March sisters stick together in the brand new trailer for Little Women.

In the upcoming adaption of Louisa May Alcott‘s novel, Jo March (Saoirse Ronan) reflects back and forth on her fictional life and recalls growing up with her three sisters, each determined to live life on her own terms.

Saoirse stars with Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Timothée Chalamet, Laura Dern, and Meryl Streep in the movie.

Directed by Greta Gerwig, Little Women is set to debut on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2019.

The 29-year-old actress will star alongside Saoirse Ronan as Jo, Eliza Scanlen as Beth and Florence Pugh as Amy in a re-telling of the classic Louisa May Alcott tale.

The images were first featured in Vanity Fair magazine, where director Greta Gerwig opened up about the new movie.

“This feels like autobiography,” she shared about the novel, where Louisa based the character of Jo on herself. “When you live through a book, it almost becomes the landscape of your inner life. … It becomes part of you, in a profound way.”

Little Women is due out in theaters at Christmas.

Brand new pics from Emma Watson‘s upcoming movie, Little Women, have been released and they’re getting us even more excited to see it!

Debuting on Vanity Fair, the images show an inside look at the making of the film from Greta Gerwig.

Emma stars as Meg March in the film, opposite Saoirse Ronan as Jo, Eliza Scanlen as Beth, Florence Pugh as Amy, and Timothee Chalamet as Laurie.

“I loved that in Lady Bird, he was the one that broke my heart, but I got to break his heart in Little Women,” Saoirse joked about Timothee‘s role in the film.

She added about her character, Jo, who is based off the author, Louisa May Alcott: “We didn’t want to label [Alcott] as anything,” she shared, adding that director Greta “wove details of Alcott’s writing from her letters and diaries into the script, including a line from Jo about loving freely and deeply.”

Little Women will open in theaters this Christmas.

Saoirse Ronan is hard at work on her upcoming movie Little Women and we have some new photos from the set!

The 24-year-old actress was spotted filming alongside co-star Louis Garrel on Monday (October 22) in Boston, Mass.

Saoirse is playing the lead role of Jo March while Louis is taking on the character of Jo’s husband, German professor Friedrich Bhaer.

Greta Gerwig wrote the adaptation to the classic novel and she’s directing a star-studded cast that also includes Meryl Streep, Laura Dern, Emma Watson, and Timothee Chalamet.

Kathryn Newton and Maya Hawke step out together for the Little Women FYC Reception and Panel Discussion in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (May 6).

The two actresses recently spoke with THR about getting into the mindsets of Jo (played by Maya) and Amy (played by Kathryn) and their answers might surprise you.

“I think that every actor sort of has a different process, and there’s lots of things that really help — like you read the books, and you read the books that the character would read,” Maya shared.

For her, she read “the Bible, and I read…Emerson and Thoreau’s writing, and all sort of what would be happening in Louisa’s [May Alcott, author] mind when she was writing ‘Little Women’ and what Jo would be reading when she was a kid. I sort of tried to infuse my body with those ideas and thoughts, and that really helped me a lot.”

However, for Kathryn, it was the complete opposite – she actually listened to Gwen Stefani and Madonna!

“I listened to the things I listened to when I was 12,” she said. “Because in the beginning of the novel, when Amy does her horrible thing that she does, she’s very young. As an actor it was a big challenge to always have my emotions on my fingertips. It really made me get connected to my inner child again.”

Kathryn adds, “At 12 years old, your heart is on your sleeve. You love everything, you dream really big. You don’t understand why people tell you ‘no.’ That’s what I loved about Amy — she never really lets go of that.”

Little Women will premiere THIS Sunday, May 13th, @ 8PM ET/PT on PBS.
