Lucy Hale checks out the cool Bongo displays while hosting the Bongo Ice Pop event at Sears over the weekend in North Hollywood, Calif.
The 23-year-old actress handed out customized Bongo pops, surrounded by Bongo ice sculptures showcasing the latest trends from the brand.
Catching up with Teen Vogue, Lucy chatted about her own style and her upcoming album. Check it:
On her teen fashion: “I’ve always been in to fashion, ever since I was a little kid. I tried to keep up with the trends even back then, so I was a little daring! My older sister always got the cooler clothes and would give me her hand-me-downs, too.”
On her prom style: “I was actually home schooled, but I did go to three proms—I went to two with a boyfriend, and then one with a friend. It was pretty fun! I think I wore a short, lime green dress all three times. It was really ugly, haha!”
On her country album: “It’s country music, and I’m really proud of it. I’m so busy with the show right now, so we’re just figuring out when it’ll be released. But I’ll definitely be able to share it with you guys by the end of this year!”

“My album is something I’m really, really, really proud of,” Lucy says. “I’ve intentionally been quiet about it because I want the music to speak for itself. People are either going to love it or hate it. But I think that once they hear it, they’ll be like, ‘Okay, she loves this and is serious about it.’ This is my pride and joy—it’s my baby! I worked my butt off on it.”

The 23-year-old actress was there to promote Bongo’s new summer collection and handed out ice pop bars inspired by it to happy customers.

The Pretty Little Liars aren’t clear of the text messages just yet in this new still from the season four premiere.
In “A is for A-l-i-v-e,” the Liars are desperate to uncover what new scheme “A” has in store for them in the wake of the lodge fire, and have no choice but to turn to Mona (Janel Parrish) for answers, now that she is also being targeted.
Aria (Lucy Hale) struggles with seeing Ezra (Ian Harding) in the wake of their breakup, and Emily (Shay Mitchell) starts to make plans for life after high school. Meanwhile, “A” sets Toby (Keegan Allen) on a new path, what’s in the trunk is revealed, and a shocking discovery reverberates through Rosewood.

“When we shot the scene there was nothing in the trunk,” Troian Bellisario told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. “When I say we know nothing, we were looking at nothing in the trunk. I said to [creator Marlene King] … ‘I just have to know, I’m an actor. Tell me what’s in the trunk so I can imagine it.’ And she said, ‘It’s pretty close to your worst nightmare.’”
She continued, “But when we shot the scene, picking up with the season premiere where you see what’s in the trunk. She wasn’t far [off]. It’s pretty awful.”
