MacKenzie Ziegler is Being Sued By Music Production Company

MacKenzie Ziegler is Being Sued By Music Production Company

UPDATE: JJJ reached out to Mackenzie Ziegler‘s legal team about the situation.

“This is a frivolous lawsuit, which we intend to prove in a court of law,” they tell us. “This is yet another example of a production company taking advantage of a young rising star.”

A music production company is going after Mackenzie Ziegler.

According to TMZ, Kismet Music is suing the 13-year-old Dance Moms alum and her mom Melissa for allegedly “bailing on performances and record sessions, and working with another producer on the side.”

Kismet signed a deal with Kenzie back in 2014 and claims that she promised to “deliver technically and commercially satisfactory records.”

The company says she’s been working with another producer, which is against her contract, and it’s suing for 15 percent of her net profits.

We recently spoke to Kenzie about her love for music, so we hope this all gets cleared up for her soon.

Mackenzie Ziegler Announces She is Writing a Book

Mackenzie Ziegler Announces She is Writing a Book

Watch out, Maddie Ziegler — you’re not the only Ziegler kid with some writing props.

Mackenzie Ziegler, at only 12 years old, is going to be following in her big sister’s footsteps and writing a book of her own. It will be titled Mackenzie’s Rules for Life: How to be Happy, Healthy, and Dance to Your Own Beat, and it’s debuting in summer of 2018 from Gallery Books.

What will the book be about? In a large part, Mackenzie‘s journey.

It will be an “inspirational, upbeat advice book for young girls navigating their tween years,” and will cover everything from her experiences with friendship and family to fitness and boys.

“Growing up and trying to find your way in this world can be tough,” she told Teen Vogue, “I am still figuring it out myself. I feel like it will really help kids with how to be more confident with themselves.”

Mackenzie is definitely someone to turn to for help with confidence; her new single, “Monsters (aka Haters)” (watch the video) is all about empowerment and having faith in yourself.

Not bad for a 12-year-old. We can’t wait to see what she does next!

Mackenzie Ziegler is only 12 years old, but that isn’t stopping her! The young Dance Moms star just released her music video for “Monsters (aka Haters),” the single she dropped late last month.

The music video features a spooky motif, opening with Kenzie waking from a nightmare in the middle of an intense thunderstorm, only to discover the nightmare is real.

The nightmare scenes are interspersed with clips of Kenzie dancing and singing about fighting her monsters — and it’s super empowering.

The video has already amassed 225,000 views — and it’s only been live for a couple hours.

Johnny Orlando Has An Alarm Counting Down To When School Ends

Johnny Orlando Has An Alarm Counting Down To When School Ends

Johnny Orlando may have 3 million more Instagram followers than the average person, but in a recent Twitter post, he proved he is actually all of us.

“Is it bad that I literally have a timer app that tells me exactly when school ends?” he tweeted. Then he added a screenshot of his app, which proves that he has exactly two months, 13 days left… you know, give or take.

With Johnny‘s sold-out touring schedule with Mackenzie Ziegler, he probably has to try even harder to keep up with his schoolwork than the average teen.

You’re almost there, Johnny!
