The 16-year-old singer and actress joined her younger sister, Maisy, 12, at the event.
The YMA Fashion Scholarship fund is an international non-profit organization whose goal is to advance the fashion industry by encouraging gifted and enterprising young people to pursue careers in design, merchandising, retailing and business.
The two sisters, and Nashville stars, chatted with the social media network about their pictures, their music and everything that’s coming up.
Maisy, who just turned 12, shared her first musical memory: performing on a Christmas record with her family at the age of two.
“My mom is one of eight children so we couldn’t afford to get every single person a gift, so we thought that we would sing,” she shared. “Lennon was going to do the whole record, and I was sitting in the laundry room watching them recording it. I was like, ‘Mom can I sing?’ I ended up singing ‘Where Are You Christmas?’”
Lennon added about getting into acting: “In my head it was Maisy’s thing. I was totally 100 percent music. And then Maisy auditioned for Nashville and they saw me because I was there with her. And they called me in and I was like, ‘What is happening right now?’ It was just a weird thing. I auditioned and they knew and we instantly got the parts.”
