The Abduction star took to Instagram on Saturday (July 13) to put his arm muscles on display.

“Can take the kids outta Michigan…” he captioned the photos, featuring himself and his little sister Makena Lautner at the beach. (Taylor was born in Grand Rapids.)
“But you can’t take the Michigan out of the kids…” Makena added along with her own shot.
“Home for the next week,” she also wrote in her Stories.

Taylor Lautner had “one of the biggest moments of his life” last night!
The Abduction actor’s younger sister Makena got engaged on Friday (April 5).

“Last night was one of the biggest moments of my life. My best friend, also known as my baby sister, got engaged to the love of her life,” he captioned a slideshow on Instagram. “I could not be more proud of the woman that you have grown to become and I don’t know where in this world I would be without you.”
“The love that you two have is truly one of a kind and I cannot wait to watch the rest of your guys love story play out,” he added. “Congratulations Jake and Makena! I love you both more than you know. ❤️💍.”

ICYMI, Taylor also recently penned a sweet birthday note for his girlfriend Taylor (they met through Makena).
Taylor Lautner‘s sister Makena has undergone her second heart surgery.
The Twilight star updated fans about his younger sister’s procedure on his Instagram on Friday (August 11).
“2nd heart procedure is finally a MASSIVE success. Couldn’t possibly look up to this little/not so little girl any more,” Taylor captioned a photo of himself kissing Makena on the forehead.
He added, “You are much braver than I @makenalautner.. Love you so.”
Makena previously revealed on her Instagram that she has tachycardia, which she described as a condition that causes “her heart rate to go over 300+ bpm.” She has undergone one other surgery for the condition.
Makena also updated fans on her own account, writing, “2nd heart procedure was a huge success! It couldn’t have gone any better. God answered 3 years of prayers today more than any of us could have ever dreamt of.”

Twilight star Taylor Lautner takes his lovely lady friend Sara Hicks to the chiropractor’s office in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (July 22).
The couple, who picked up lunch at Chipotle, was accompanied by Taylor‘s younger sister, Makena Lautner.
Back in May, Makena was spotted hanging out with Selena Gomez in Vancouver, Canada while Taylor was shooting New Moon and Sel was filming Ramona & Beezus. Makena is one lucky girl!

The 16-year-old Ramona and Beezus actress laughs with Makena Lautner, Taylor‘s lil’ sis, as they stroll through sunny downtown Vancouver on Sunday afternoon (May 17).
The duo, along with Sel‘s costar Hutch Dano and another gal pal, enjoyed an afternoon lunch at Earl’s restaurant before stopping off to pick up some new DVDs and a quick shopping spree at Urban Outfitters.
Looks like Selena‘s fitting right in with the Lautner family!
