Marie Avgeropoulos stuns in a shimmering gold look on the summer 2019 cover of Grumpy magazine.

In the issue, The 100 actress opens up about playing a kickass character, philanthropy and more. Check it:

On telling Octavia’s story: “I just always like to come from a place of speaking Octavia’s truth. I try to relate to something that happened in my life, like a feeling or having to make tough decisions that will impact others. I’m just trying to remain honest with my feelings so that I can tell a truthful story to the audience through the mind and body of Octavia.”

On her next project: “It’s something that I’ve never done before, but if I can explain it in three words it would be: animated, comic book and exciting!

On giving back: “I’m an ambassador of Food For Life Vrindavan, which is a sponsorship program for young girls in India who are unable to go to school. When you sponsor a girl, it allows her to have the power of education, to choose her own career and to uplift her own community. I believe that if you empower a girl, you empower change and you empower the entire community!”

The 100's Marie Avgeropoulos & Bob Morley Talk About Octavia & Bellamy's Relationship in Season 6

The 100's Marie Avgeropoulos & Bob Morley Talk About Octavia & Bellamy's Relationship in Season 6

It’s safe to say that Bellamy and Octavia’s relationship on The 100 is strained – it’s actually more than strained.

Marie Avgeropoulos and Bob Morley recently chatted with Collider about the siblings’ relationship heading into season 6, which premieres TOMORROW, April 30th on The CW.

“This season will be very interesting for Bellamy and Octavia since they were at such odds last year,” Marie shared. “Octavia threw Bellamy in the pit last year, so I’m sure that’s pretty hard for him to get over.”

She adds, “But that’s the fun part about The 100: it’s all these unhealthy relationships and how people cope. Of course, Bellamy dating and becoming very close with Echo has been challenging for Octavia. A few seasons ago she threw Octavia off a cliff. So that’s pretty hard to accept as your potential sister in law. It’s not just a little argument.”

Bob continues that the duo’s argument last season isn’t “something that they can walk away from that easily. You know that old adage of blood is thicker than water, it definitely rings true for them, but it’s just like…there’s gotta be a lot of water under the bridge before that developing into something more…so, there’s a lot of work to be done.

Marie also teased that Bellamy and Octavia will be together in some form in the new season and dropped this huge hint: “[There's] an interesting thing that happens between them this season and it will shock the viewers. So, I’m really excited for everybody to see. Big decisions will be made.”

What “interesting thing” is this? We need to know!

Eliza Taylor, Marie Avgeropoulos & More 'The 100' Stars Tease a Possible Spinoff

Eliza Taylor poses with her 100 costars Marie Avgeropoulos and Tasya Teles while attending 2019 WonderCon over the weekend in Anaheim, Calif.

The three actors were joined by showrunner Jason Rothenberg, plus co-stars Richard Harmon, Shannon Kook and Sachin Sahel.

During the panel, the stars teased a possible prequel spinoff that’s been talked about for a long time.

“I think I would want to see one where … the beginning of the spin-off is the first bomb going off,” Richard shared with the fans about a spinoff series. “And everything of like the people who become the Grounders, the people who survive, them dealing with kind of everything. I think that would be spin-off I’d want to see.”

Jason added, “We may be working on something. Can’t talk about it. I’ll probably get in trouble for saying that.”

'The 100' Cast Spills on Season 6 & Their New Planet: 'It's Going to Be Nuts'

'The 100' Cast Spills on Season 6 & Their New Planet: 'It's Going to Be Nuts'

Get excited for the new season of The 100!

The cast recently opened up to E! News about what fans can expect from the new planet in season six. Check out what they had to say below:

EP Jason Rothenberg: “It’s an Earth-like planet, we’ve seen it from space. It will pack many, many surprises, the creatures that we encounter are not things that would’ve been on Earth. You know, the threats and the mysteries, it’s just endless, you know, the sky’s literally the limit as far as what we can and hopefully will encounter. You know, it’s survivable to humans, so it has to have a certain…as Monty says it’s in the Goldilocks zone of binary star system. So we know there’s two stars, we know there’s water and land and trees based on what we’ve seen from space. The rest is going to be revealed, obviously, as they touch down in season six.”

Marie Avgeropoulos: “I had to read it about six times because it was very confusing. It’s very, very—it’s got so much sci-fi elements this season to the show…it’s really quite complicated.”

Richard Harmon: “The planet’s going to be nuts. It’s gonna look oddly Vancouver-like, but they did such an amazing job this year of actually being able to switch it up, kind of where we shoot, and show the difference, and that’s the lovely thing about shooting in Vancouver…The planet has a very interesting and cool look to it this season. I thought I was on the wrong set. This is still The 100, right?”

'The 100' Will Highlight What Exactly Octavia Has Going on Underground

'The 100' Will Highlight What Exactly Octavia Has Going on Underground

One of the biggest moments during The 100‘s season 5 premiere were the last ones – where we all saw Octavia, high on her skull throne, watching over her “fighting pits”.

Next week, we’ll get to see exactly what’s going on in the bunker below ground.

EW hints that fans can “expect to see exactly how Octavia ended up in the hot seat” and watch “what might be her most badass, bloodiest scene yet.”

“It was really important to me for that environment, for that fighting pit that we see in [the premiere], to feel believable and to tell a story in the next episode that explains how we got there,” showrunner Jason Rothenberg shared with TVGuide about the bunker and what’s it has turned into.

He adds that how she got to that throne has to do with keeping her WonKru safe.

“We realize ultimately that Octavia needs to find ways to keep her kru, her new people, Wonkru, together. And she kind of forges this clan in her own image, in a sense,” he says.

And yes, when SkaiKru is reunited with Clarke and Madi on the ground, and then they reunite with Octavia, they will all be a little shocked…and horrified.

“It’s fairly remarkable that she was able to keep that, to create that, to forge that steel in the fire of what they lived through down there,” Jason adds. “So ultimately that’s all due to Octavia. And the question for people will be, ‘Do we like her or do we hate her or fear her?’ But I think ultimately, we have to respect that she did it, she made it happen. And they will too.”

The 100 airs Tuesdays @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.

Marie Avgeropoulos Teases Octavia's Dark Path on 'The 100' Season 5

Marie Avgeropoulos Teases Octavia's Dark Path on 'The 100' Season 5

We’ve got a month before the new season of The 100 gets to us and spoilers are raining down on us.

Marie Avgeropoulos, who plays Octavia, opened up to TVLine about what’s ahead on the post-apocalyptic show – and it looks like resources are running dangerously low.

“[There's a] really interesting dark twist in Season 5 that we can’t tell you much about,” she shared. “But resources are running extremely low and actually come to a halt, so we have to come up with a new tactic… of nutritioning our bodies.”

Our minds shoot straight to the obvious on this one. Could it be true?

Marie also teased that a dark path for Octavia will be coming: “It sounds easier than it actually is to achieve, so she comes up with this very destructive and dark path to create peace. We definitely take it to some really dark places.”

The 100 returns in late April on The CW.
