Saoirse Ronan gets a cheeky kiss from Diane Kruger during the after party for The Host held at Lure in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (March 19).
The two actresses were joined by cast mates Jake Abel and Max Irons and author/producer Stephenie Meyer.
The official soundtrack for the film was just announced and features Imagine Dragons, Ellie Goulding and Die Mason Die. The record will hit shelves on Tuesday, March 26th!
The Host opens Friday, March 29th.

Jake Abel squeezes into a pic with fans during the premiere of The Host held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood on Tuesday night (March 19).
The 25-year-old actor suited up in Dior for the event alongside co-star Max Irons.
“Debating on wearing this gift from Stephenie Meyer to @TheHostFilm premiere tonight. Thoughts? #TheHost” Jake tweeted earlier in the day. We glad he went with the suit!

Posh is a British play by Laura Wade that first hit the stage in 2010. The story revolves around the members of the Riot Club, based off of Oxford University’s Bullingdon Club, whose meeting at a country pub ends in tragedy.

The quartet also stopped by Extra to film a segment before the signing event.
“Dare: Go Buy Bouncy Balls. Tons of Bouncy Balls. Unload them on Stephanie Meyer‘s signing table @thegroveLA today,” Jake issued the dare to his fans earlier in the day.
He added a few moments later, “Dare #2: Exploit Max‘s fear of bugs by bringing him fake plastic bugs to @thegroveLA book signing today.”

“There’s a lot of kissing with co-stars Max Irons and Jake Abel, which sounds a bit sleazy, but it’s only because I’m playing two characters,” Saoirse told InStyle. “At least that’s the excuse I’m going with.”

The two Host stars opened up about the constant comparisons to Twilight and more. Check it:
Jake on working hard in Hollywood: “Nobody’s a star until they’re a star…Everybody is a Joe So-and-So and everyone’s a hack, until they’re not. You see all the guys you’re competing with, and suddenly you’re in a franchise that’s being compared to Twilight.”
Max on the comparison: “It’s a very lazy comparison, because Twilight was a phenomenon unto itself. [Robert] Pattinson was chased down the streets of Paris before the films even came out. And he is going well for himself. He has about five films with acclaimed directors lined up.”
Jake on the Twilight cast: “A lot of people expect us to knock the Twilight cast, but Taylor Lautner is a really nice kid. Rob Pattinson, I couldn’t imagine the tremendous amount of pressure he was under and he earned my respect when I saw him fight for certain projects. Water for Elephants is a great novel, the movie was what it was. That’s not his fault. That’s the risk; we’re he face of projects.”

Recently talking with HLN, the two actors opened up about their favorite moments on the film set.
“For me, it was the last scene of production,” Jake shared. “It’s where Ian takes Wanda out on their first date on top of this massive plateau in the middle of the desert. It was the most magnificent way to end this marathon. We wrapped, the sun was setting, it’s bittersweet, and people are crying and hugging and saying their goodbyes. It was quite magical.”
Max continued, “I know this sounds silly, but there was a big fight sequence where I got to fight three guys and I sort of won — or at least it was equal. That would never happen to me in real life! If I saw three guys, I’d run and hide in the toilets, but on that particular day I got to win and it’s nice to know what that feels like.”
