McKayla Maroney is heading to Bluebell, Alabama.

The 16-year-old Olympian will be guest starring on an upcoming episode of the CW’s Hart of Dixie.

McKayla will play the role of Tonya, a friend of Rose’s (McKaley Miller), who comes to Rose’s defense.

Hart of Dixie follow Dr. Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson), who after her dreams of becoming an cardio-thoracic surgeon fall apart, accepts an offer to work in a small medical practice in Bluebell.

The Fierce Five run into The Wanted during the 2012 MTV VMAs held at Staples Center on Thursday (September 6) in Los Angeles.

The girls — Aly Raisman, Jordyn Wieber, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross and Gabby Douglas — met up with the British band at the 2012 NBA Baller Beats for XBOX VMA Lounge.

The Fierce Five introduced Alicia Keys‘ performance and Gabby even performed a modified floor routine on stage!

“Had the most amazing time at the VMAs.. That was one of those unforgettable kinda nights” McKayla tweeted.

Gabby added, “Had so much fun tonight at the VMA’s with my girls it couldn’t have been better!!!”

Olympic swimming champ Missy Franklin was also in attendance. “Had such an amazing time at the #VMAs tonight! Met so many incredible people and saw AMAZING performances! Congrats to everyone!” she wrote on her own Twitter.

Pink shows off her best gymnast presentation pose to Olympians Gabby Douglas, Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney during the season premiere of Ellen.

The trio came to surprise Pink, 32, who was the special guest on the show for the season 10 premiere. Check your local listings for time and channel.

It was announced just yesterday (via People) that Gabby, 16, will be writing a memoir!

To be titled “Grace, Gold and Glory, My Leap of Faith,” the book will chronicle Gabby‘s early life, how she left her family in Virginia at age 12 to train 3,000 miles away and her path to gold at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

“Even before I competed in the Olympics, I always wanted to write book,” Gabby shared. “[It] will also be about how much my family and I have overcome during our journey. It hasn’t been easy.

McKayla Maroney heads into a physical therapy office in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (August 18).

The 16-year-old Olympian, who took home a silver and gold, wore a floral top with her LV bag while getting her ankle back to health.

McKayla returned to Laguna Niguel last week and came home to a warm welcoming.

“The videos people are making for me, are making my night!! There so funny and sweet!! Thankyou!! http://youtu.be/2HKZZ3OgxAk,” McKayla recently tweeted in response to all the date vids.

Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Wieber take a load off on a sofa at the official after party for The Cinema Society with Circa and Alice & Olivia screening of Sparkle held at the Soho Grand Hotel on Tuesday night (August 14) in New York City.

Along with team mate Gabby Douglas, the Fierce Five met Jordin Sparks earlier in the day.

This morning (August 15), Aly, Jordyn, Kyla, McKayla and Gabby stopped by Good Morning America to show off their shiny gold medals and chat about the 2012 Olympics with Josh Elliott.

“This is my favorite picture from my trip to New York!! Had such a great time with my best friends, we can make anything fun!! #Fierce5,” McKayla tweeted after the show.

McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman and Jordyn Wieber pick up the phones on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday afternoon (August 14) in New York City.

The three Olympians were joined by team mates Kyla Ross and Gabby Douglas to ring the closing bell.

Earlier in the day, the girls stopped by the Empire State Building where McKayla, 16, chatted with reporters on the now famous “McKayla Maroney Is Not Impressed” meme going around.

“I think it’s really funny,” she shared. “At first, I was really confused and I couldn’t believe that just from making that face for two seconds it could turn into that, but I guess in my head I was just disappointed that I fell on my butt at the Olympics. And when the National Anthem was playing, and it wasn’t my country, I was just thinking in my head, like just dang it, and that’s what my face did.”

She added, “And I guess it turned into some big thing. It’s kind of funny.”
