Grab your tissues because the Supergirl finale is going to be an emotional one!
The Arrowverse show is coming to an end as the last episode of season, and the last one ever airs TONIGHT (November 9).
In the series finale, we get to see some past friends return, including Chris Wood as Mon-El, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen/Guardian and Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott.
We also get to see Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) and Kelly Olsen (Azie Tesfai) get married, with J’onn J’onzz (David Harewood) serving as their officiant. From the photos, it looks like we’ll be getting a duet performance from Winn and Kara (Melissa Benoist).

Melissa Benoist and the cast of Supergirl made an appearance at 2021 DC FanDome to bid farewell to the series ahead of it’s upcoming finale.
The star of the show was joined by her co-stars from the series Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Katie McGrath, Jesse Rath, Nicole Maines, Azie Tesfai, Julie Gonzalo, Staz Nair, Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan, Chris Wood, and Peta Sergeant.
During their segment at the fan event, the cast shared what the impact the show has had on them, their favorite scenes, and what they’ll miss the most.

It’s for sure happening – Mehcad Brooks, aka James Olsen, aka Guardian, WILL in fact be back for the upcoming Supergirl finale!
Star Melissa Benoist confirmed the news that fans had already suspected in a new interview.
Also returning for the finale are her real life hubby Chris Wood and Jeremy Jordan, as Mon-El and Winn Schott, respectively. They were first seen on set earlier this month, filming what appears to be a funeral scene.

Candice Patton and China McClain wear gold to the Entertainment Weekly Party held during 2019 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20) in San Diego, Calif.
The 31-year-old The Flash actress was joined by her co-star Danielle Panabaker, who also wore a sparkly dress.
Also in attendance were fellow DC Universe stars, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow‘s Caity Lotz with boyfriend Dylan Lewis, Brandon Routh, and Courtney Ford, Arrow‘s Juliana Harkavy and Rick Gonzalez, Supergirl‘s Mehcad Brooks, David Harewood, Nicole Maines, Andrea Brooks, and Jon Cryer, as well as Black Lightning‘s Nafessa Williams, Christine Adams, and Krondon.

Melissa Benoist rocks a brand-new haircut at 2019 Comic-Con!
The Supergirl actress took the stage at the Supergirl Special Video Presentation and Q&A at San Diego Convention Center on Saturday (July 20) in San Diego.
She was joined by her co-stars Jesse Rath, Nicole Maines, Mehcad Brooks, Azie Tesfai, Chyler Leigh, David Harewood, Katie McGrath, Andrea Brooks, and Jon Cryer.
The cast shared an adorable group hug around Mehcad, who will be leaving the CW series in season five.
At the event, Melissa revealed the official first look at Supergirl’s new Kryptonian supersuit. See it in our gallery!
In addition, the show’s producers announced that two new characters will be joining the action in National City for the upcoming season: DC’s Andrea Rojas (aka Acrata), played by Veronica Mars‘ Julie Gonzalo, and renowned reporter William Dey, played by Game of Thrones‘ Staz Nair.
Season five of Supergirl premieres on October 6.

Fans will have to say goodbye to Mehcad Brooks on Supergirl.
The actor, who plays James Olsen on the CW series (Superman’s best friend and Supergirl’s ex-boyfriend), is leaving the show during the first half of season five, Deadline reports.
It is unclear how he will exit the series, but he’s allegedly bidding farewell in order to spend more time on movies and a possible cable show.
“We love Mehcad and we’re sad to see him leave the show as as a series regular, but we’re excited for both Mehcad and James Olsen’s future,” the producers said in a statement. “He’ll always be a part of our Supergirl family and we look forward to James returning to National City at some point to visit his sister and his super friends.”
Season five of Supergirl premieres on October 6.
