That’s it — Faking It is officially over and JJJ is still not okay with it.
Especially now that showrunner Carter Covington has dreamt up this awesome season four!
“It was always my intention to make ‘Karmy’ happen during our final season. Karma would finally realize that her possessiveness of Amy might be a sign of deeper feelings for her best friend. She’d struggle to share these feelings with Amy, knowing she couldn’t lead Amy on again unless she was sure,” he wrote in a letter on THR. “Unable to let another chance go by, Karma would impetuously kiss Amy, and a fresh ‘Whoa …’/'I know …’ moment would spark this new phase of their relationship. If this makes you deliriously happy, then please stop reading and let this be the ending in your mind.”
He continued, “How satisfying it would have been to finally see Karma and Amy as a true couple! There would have been lots of kisses, none of them dreams! But slowly it would have become clear that in becoming a couple, the two of them had lost something that made them … them. Eventually, they would both realize they’d have to sacrifice their relationship to save their friendship. The series would have ended with Karma and Amy’s life goals intact: roommates in college, houses next door to each other, best friends forever. That is what Karmy always meant to me.”

Michael J. Willett looks super dapper in this feature for the September 2015 “Young Hollywood” issue of Bello magazine.
The 26-year-old actor opened up to the glossy about his Faking It character, his style, and more. Check it:
On whether he had the same high school experience as Shane: “No, this is definitely a fantasy version of how I would like to be. There’s a lot of wish fulfillment in Shane. I was much more introverted. I mostly just kept to myself… In terms of being out, everybody knew that I was gay but it was not something that I fully accepted yet. You know, it’s private. I’m a private person. There are certain things that I want to keep sacred and I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with that.”
On his style: My two big fashion icons are Gwen Stefani and David Bowie. So I like to always have some sort of interpretation or my spin on both of those fashion icons. I am definitely into color right now so I’ve been really rocking a lot of vivid colors lately. That’s pretty much where I get my style.
On advice he would give to teens starting school: “Well I grew up with a lot of social anxiety so thinking about one aspect of it that I really liked, whether that was a certain class or my outfit or just something I could focus on, that made me feel so much better. Just focus on something that makes you happy.”
