The Faking It actress was joined by her co-stars Rita Volk, Gregg Sulkin and Michael J. Willett at the show, where the show WON Breakout TV Show!

“In terms of the LGBT community, it’s nice to see different kinds of gay characters, who are dealing with issues beyond being bullied and beyond dealing with the pressures of society,” Michael told Galo Magazine. “I feel like once we move beyond that, we have more stories to tell. There are a lot of stories from the perspective of LGBT people that have not even been told yet. So, I’m hoping this is sort of an outlet for that.”
The season finale of Faking It airs on Tuesday, June 10 @ 10:30PM on MTV!

Faking It is a new romantic comedy about two best friends (Stevens, Volk) who love each other � in slightly different ways. After numerous failed attempts to become popular, the girls are mistakenly outed as lesbians, which launches them to instant celebrity status. Seduced by their newfound fame, Karma and Amy decide to keep up their romantic ruse.

Gregg Sulkin and Bailey Buntain are leaving Disney behind for MTV.
THR reports that the two actors have joined MTV’s Faking It, alongside Katie Stevens, Rita Volk, and Michael J. Willett.
The comedy revolves around two best friends who will do almost anything to fit in and be popular in high school, including pretending to be something they’re not.
Gregg will play Liam, a sexy high school artist who is tolerate, cares about the environment and is good with his hands. Nearly every girl would kill to date him but none have understood him — until Karma (Stevens) arrives and sees through his art and into his soul. Karma is an upbeat and optimistic high school sophomore who is sick of spending her Friday nights watching Netflix with her best friend Amy. Convinced they’re in danger of falling off the social ladder, Karma is thrilled when she and Amy are invited to the hottest party of the year — especially because Liam will be there.
Rita is Amy, who unlike her longtime best friend, is cynical and a pessimist. Bailey will portray Lauren, the new girl in school and Amy’s stepsister. She’s polished and pretty and feels like she should be the most popular girl in school.
Michael will play Shane, Liam’s best friend and the most popular kid at school. The character is openly gay with an androgynous vibe that goes well with his eclectic sense of style.
