Black-ish stars Marsai Martin, Marcus Scribner, and Miles Brown walk the carpet at the 2019 NAACP Image Awards’ Non-Televised Dinner on Friday (March 29) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
It was a big night for the young stars. Marsai won not one, but TWO awards – Best Performance by a Youth in a Series and Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
Marcus picked up Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
McKenna Grace went all out for her premiere look for Captain Marvel, held at Dolby Theatre on Monday night (March 4) in Hollywood.
The 12-year-old actress met up with London Fuller and Brie Larson on the red carpet, who also play versions of Carol Danvers in the film.
Akira Akbar, who plays a young Monica Rambeau, and Miles Brown are also pictured in the gallery below.
“You can do anything you put your mind to,” McKennashared on the red carpet of what young girls can take away from the film. “Just follow your dreams.”
Captain Marvel hits theaters on Friday, March 8th.
The four stars have joined legions of others in showing off a side-by-side photo of themselves from 2008 or 2009 and then from today.
“Had to! Not too much has changed — especially not the sequins,” Lily wrote with her challenge post. “Except apparently now I just wear my blazers solo #10yearchallenge…”
