The 20-year-old singer chatted with the glossy about changing up her look, working with new people and maintaining her relationship with fiance Liam Hemsworth. Check it:
On working with Pharrell: “Then I met Pharrell, and it was the first time I was in the studio just being really free. Pharrell opened that door. At the end of the day its what me and P are making…I could keep doing this forever, just making this record.”
On balancing her relationship and work: “I’m not home with my boyfriend all the time. We work. Every week it’s ‘Are they broken up? Because we don’t’ see a photo of them.’ I don’t have time go to Starbucks with my boyfriend every morning. I wish I did, but I don’t. I’d rather chill at my house and be there for the time I actually get to spend with him. And then I’m at the studio all day. He gets up to work out at six and I come home at five from the studio. I put this record before everything, and I’ve never done that with anything. I’ve put too much into this record to put anything else in front of it.”
On her new sound: “I can never say that I don’t love ‘Party in the U.S.A.’ and that I’m not appreciative of it. It would like my dad saying that he hated ‘Achy Breaky.’ It’s what gives you everything that you have. I would never take it back.”

Miley Cyrus stops off at a local Menchie’s shop for a sweet treat on Sunday afternoon (April 28) in Studio City, Calif.
The 20-year-old actress covers the June 2013 issue of Elle Uk and opened up about keeping grounded and conservative.
“This isn’t like any other place,” Miley says about living in Los Angeles. “Everything is meant to be attractive, from the people on the sidewalks to the gold fire hydrants in Beverly Hills.”
She added about her and fiance Liam Hemsworth‘s relationship, “We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed, but we keep our relationship low-key and don’t talk about it any more.”

The 20-year-old singer wore a cotton and silk jacket by Lanvin and a Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane gold vermeil pendant for her cover shoot with the mag. The issue hits stands on May 1st.
Earlier this morning (April 26), Miley paid her respects to the passing of country legend, George Jones.
“God bless Mr. Jones and his family. Especially Mrs.Nancy…. That was family ???? my fav record I AM WHAT I AM will be on repeat today,” she tweeted.
