Jack Black gathers up Miranda Cosgrove in his arms in this new still from iCarly.
In the upcoming episode “iStart a Fan War,” Carly (Cosgrove) and the gang are invited to host a panel at WebiCon, but the session is derailed when they are put on the spot by die-hard fans who demand to know whether Freddie (Nathan Kress) is dating Carly or Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and the “Creddie” and “Seddie” sides break out into an all-out fanboy riot.
Meanwhile, Spencer (Jerry Trainor) earns the adoration of fellow WebiCon attendees when he arrives impeccably costumed as an avatar from his favorite medieval-themed online video game. However, Spencer’s euphoria is cut short when he comes face-to-face with his online nemesis, Aspartamay (Black). Surrounded by an army of costumed WebiCon devotees, the two competitors launch a fan war like none other featuring their most impressive “wizard powers” and most biting lyrical warfare in the form of an operatic battle opus.
Miranda shared about reuniting with Jack (they starred in School of Rock together), “Jack Black is one of the funniest people I know, and it was wonderful working with him again. He kept the entire cast and crew laughing in between takes with hilarious riffs of the battle song he sings in the episode.”
Creator Dan Schneider added, “His role was very demanding and he worked his butt off and was a pleasure every minute. Jack is hilarious and the consummate professional �” if he ever needs a kidney, he can have one of mine.”
“iStart a Fan War” premieres Friday, November 19 @ 8PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon.

In the episode “Bad Girls,” Alicia (Margulies) is assigned the DUI case of a teen star (Cosgrove) who ran her car into a pole after a night of underage drinking and is accused of attempted murder.

When creepy things start happening, the friends worry that the ghost rumors just might be true. When Spencer forgets to buy candy, he’s got a bunch of angry trick-or-treaters on his hands.

It was just announced that the 17-year-old actress will be joining Maroon 5 and Charice on at KISS 98.5 FM’s KissMas Bash in New York in December.

Miranda Cosgrove dolls up in a black beaded Cut 25 by Yigal Azrouel dress as she walks down the yellow carpet for the premiere of Despicable Me held at London’s Empire Cinema in Leicester Square on Monday evening (October 11).
The animated feature follows a criminal mastermind, Gru (Steve Carell) who uses a trio of orphan girls as pawns for a grand scheme, but he finds himself profoundly changed by the growing love between them.
Despicable Me will be released on Bluray and DVD Combo Pack on December 14th — just in time for the holiday season!

In the upcoming episode “iDo,” an iCarly fan proposes to his girlfriend live on the web show and the exuberant couple ask Carly (Cosgrove), Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress) to be in the wedding party. When the bride-to-be has second thoughts about marrying her fiancé, Carly must come to the rescue and remind the couple that they are meant to be together.
Miranda also performs “Shakespeare” off of her debut album, Sparks Fly.
Jerry is also pictured below at the 2010 Australian Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. The iCarly cast won the LOL Award!
