Lili Reinhart penned an amusing tweet this week pointing out the toxic inequality in Kermit and Miss Piggy‘s relationship on The Muppets.
“9/26/2017, 9 pm: Dear diary, I’m still thinking about how Miss Piggy walks all over Kermit,” she wrote. “And he lets her! It’s so messed up, diary.”
The tweet garnered 30,000 likes, but also may have started an inadvertent battle. Miss Piggy has responded, and she is coming for Cole Sprouse.
“Tell your diary that moi has moved on from walking over the frog,” Miss Piggy answered. “I’m looking for someone new. You got @colesprouse’s number?”
LOL. We have a feeling Lili might.
“Ladies please,” Cole protested.
Read the exchange below, which will definitely go down in pop culture history.

Miss Piggy and her longtime love Kermit the Frog recently split!
Oh no! Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog have broken up after so many years together!
The Muppets announced the breakup during their press conference TCA panel.
“After careful thought, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling, Kermit the Frog and moi have made the difficult decision to terminate our romantic relationship. We will continue to work together on television (“The Muppets”/Tuesdays 8pm this fall on ABC) and in all media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, throughout the universe. However, our personal lives are now distinct and separate, and we will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al. This is our only comment on this private matter unless we get the right offer. Thank you for your understanding,” Miss Piggy wrote on her Facebook.
Kermit posted a similar statement on his Facebook.
