The UNICEF Snowflake illuminates Beverly Hills and serves as a beacon of hope, peace and compassion to the vulnerable children around the world. Designed by Ingo Maurer with Baccarat crystals, this beautiful ornament was dedicated to UNICEF in 2002 by the Stonbely Family Foundation.
The centerpiece of the celebration was horse drawn carriage rides in the midst of the falling snow from 40 snow machines on the 300 and 400 blocks of Rodeo Drive with complimentary rides for guests with receipt of purchases from participating stores.
Katharine McPhee also performed a few holiday songs including “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Jingle Bells.”
