The long-awaited trailer for the Mean Girls musical movie is finally here, and it is welcoming fans back to high school!
Written by Tina Fey, the musical pulls inspiration from the classic movie that starred Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried and more young stars back in 2004.
This time around, the movie is also pulling from the Broadway musical inspired by the beloved original screenplay.
Here’s a synopsis: From the comedic mind of Tina Fey comes a new twist on the modern classic, MEAN GIRLS. New student Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George (Reneé Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Bebe Wood) and Karen (Avantika). However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney), she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs. As Cady sets to take down the group’s apex predator with the help of her outcast friends Janis (Auli’i Cravalho) and Damian (Jaquel Spivey), she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the most cutthroat jungle of all: high school.
Juliet Doherty is pushed to extreme frustration in this exclusive new clip from her upcoming ballet movie The Red Shoes: Next Step!
In the clip, titled “Let Me See Who You Are,” the 26-year-old dancer and actress is going through a routine in a ballet class when her instructor Miss Harlough (Carolyn Bock) tells her to keep doing it over and over again, as she is not getting the result she wants.
The 22-year-old actress stars in the new movie as Lucy Gray Baird, and we’ve already heard her version of Jennifer Lawrence‘s Hunger Games hit “The Hanging Tree.”
After Olivia unleashed her soundtrack song “Can’t Catch Me Now” on Friday (November 3), Rachel hopped online to confirm that she had a few other numbers on the project.

If you were unaware, most movies and TV shows coming out lately have been doing so without star-studded premieres and interviews from the cast. Actors haven’t even been able to post about their releases on social media, and there were rules in place for what they could wear for Halloween.
Thankfully, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes will be able to ramp up promo again before the movie’s release next month!
