The 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards air live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles today at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
The breakout horror film Get Out leads the pack with six nominations, followed by Beauty and the Beast and Stranger Things with four nods each.
The network is switching things up, and for the first time, categories like Best Kiss, Best Duo, Best Comedic Performance, Best Hero and Best Villain, and more will be blended to include nominees from film, television and streaming series.
New categories will include Show of the Year, Best Host, Best Reality Competition, Tearjerker and Next Generation.
Oh, and remember those Best Actor and Best Actress categories? This year they are being replaced with non-gendered Best Actor in a Movie and Best Actor in a Show.
