Nat Wolff snaps a pic with Lachlan Buchanan while roaming around the Warner Brothers lot in this new Twitter pic.
The 17-year-old actor/musician revealed that he spent his Saturday at a table read for Feed the Dog with Lachlan, Cary Elwes and Selena Gomez.
“Starting work on a new movie is like the first day of camp. Excited, nervous and hoping you get good bunk mates,” Nat tweeted and added, “Today is the read through for the working titled”feed the dog” with my new friends @selenagomez and Lachlan Buchanan.Extremely psyched.”
Selena wrote on Facebook with a pic of her new hairstyle, “new hair for a new movie :) I love changing my hair!”
The movie is based on Ric Browde‘s 2000 novel, “While I’m Dead..Feed The Dog.”
The book’s summary: While trying to get into the pants of the most beautiful girl in the world, sixteen-year-old Ric Thibault ends up in the back of a limo on the road to rock’n'roll superstardom opening up for Bowie. But on the way there he hits a bump or two – a few dead Mafia hitmen here, a nymphomaniac next door there, not to mention a few dying Latin teachers, narcoleptic nuns, inept policemen, unscrupulous lawyers, buffoon reporters, huckster televangelists and greedy relatives.
The trio star in the upcoming film about the members of the Borgens family and their love interests over the course of one tumultuous year. Lily plays daughter Samantha, who is pursued by a fellow writing student (Lerman). Nat stars as Lily‘s brother, who is experiencing first love with Kate (Liana Liberato).
“So psyched to have one of my best buds @spencerbreslin down here in North Carolina. Were playing best friends. It’ll be so easy and fun,” Nat tweeted.
Writers follows the members of the Borgens family and their love interests over the course of one tumultuous year.
Bill Borgens (Greg Kinnear) is a famous novelist obsessed with his ex-wife (Jennifer Connelly). Lily will play their daughter Samantha, who is pursued by a fellow writing student (Lerman).
Nat Wolff will plays Lily‘s teenage brother, who is experiencing first love with Kate (Liana Liberato).
The flick will begin shooting in North Carolina next week.

“It was very professional. There were a lot of breath mints on set,†Abby said and cited that director Garry Marshall probably added “exceeded its budget on breath mints.”

Nat Wolff steps out for the premiere of Peace, Love & Misunderstanding held at Roy Thomson Hall during the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 13) in Toronto.
Peace, Love & Misunderstanding follows an uptight NYC lawyer who takes her two teenagers to her hippie mother’s farmhouse upstate for a family vacation.
