The movie reunites her with Spring Breakers costar James Franco, who directed and stars in the picture, based on the novel by John Steinbeck.
While we’ve seen Selena on the big screen before, this role let’s her seriously show off her dramatic acting skills.

Margaret Qualley‘s new movie Novitiate opens in theaters everywhere today, and she had a couple close friends by her side to help her celebrate at the premiere!
The actress posed for a some fun pics during day two of the 2017 Sundance Film Festival held at Eccles Center Theatre on Friday (January 20) Park City, Utah.
She was joined by her sister Rainey and Paper Towns‘ Nat Wolff, who also showed his support the night before at the 2017 Maven Pictures Party at The Retreat by Autograph Collection Hotels at Hotel Park City.
Margaret‘s co-star Dianna Agron was also there for the festivities.
Novitiate is set in the early 1960s during the era of Vatican II. It focuses on a young woman in training to become a nun who struggles with issues of faith, the changing church, and sexuality.

Nat and Alex got their start as The Naked Brothers Band on Nickelodeon and have gone on to have success both together and on their own. Nat is currently working on his upcoming movie Home Again and Alex will soon be seen in the film Patriots Day.

The film centers on Private Adam Winfield (Wolff), a soldier in Afghanistan who attempted to blow the whistle on members of his platoon who carry out a murderous scheme in the desolate wasteland of Southern Afghanistan.
Death Note follows “a student who discovers a supernatural notebook that allows him to kill anyone simply by writing the victim’s name. A cat-and-mouse game ensues when he’s tracked by a reclusive police officer,” according to Variety.
