Taking to social media this weekend, the now 27-year-old actor and director shared his goodbyes to the show with an updated family picture featuring his wife, London and their young daughter, Rosie.
“5 years. A lot has changed. Not just the fact that I can’t fit into those khakis any more…,” Nathan wrote. “Congrats to the Henry Danger team on wrapping their fifth and final season, spanning a massive 120+ episodes. It’s been an honor and a privilege!”
Nathan directed 10 of the show’s episodes from 2015 until the end of series.

The 26-year-old actor filmed a segment of Nickelodeon’s “NickRewind” and looked back on his time on the hit show, and revealed some tidbits that you may have never known before.
“Oh, it makes me physically uncomfortable,” he says while watching his audition.
Nathan even dished about the first scene he filmed.
“I remember when we first shot that scene, it was the first scene that I rehearsed, and I don’t know if it was a combination of the fact that it was just really cold on set or that I was really nervous,” he said. “I was shaking, quaking, during the entire rehearsal. I was holding up the bottle and all of my hands were just going absolutely insane. I think a lot of Freddie energy was just me that I couldn’t even contain and it just became evident on screen.”
Nathan also shared his real thoughts on spaghetti tacos, his favorite webcast segments, and if he thinks Freddie should’ve ended up with Carly or Sam.

Nathan Kress holds onto daughter Rosie as she attends her very first event at the 7th Annual Step2 Celebrity Red CARpet Event on Saturday afternoon (September 22) in Culver City, Calif.
The dad and daughter duo were joined by wife and mom London Elise Kress for the annual event, which benefits Baby 2 Baby.
In a recent Instagram, London reminded Nathan of his one time fear of holding babies, and now he’s a pro at it.
“You now hold a little girl—YOUR little baby girl—in your protective, strong, gracefully courageous arms,” she wrote. “Not only do you not mind holding a baby now, I have to lovingly disappoint you with a ‘No, Nate, you cannot go wake up our sleeping baby to hold her one more time before bed because you miss her already.’”
The former iCarly star and now director revealed on Instagram that he just had back surgery to remedy a rare birth defect that not even he knew he had.
“Alright, so here’s what been going on! Since around 2013-14, I’ve been having increasingly bad back pain, while doing the simplest stuff– driving, sitting cross-legged, even standing still in front of monitor while directing. Everything just hurt, all the time,” Nathan tells his fans on Instagram. “So after a lot of procrastinating, lots of doctors visits and MRIs, and an incorrect diagnosis or two, I found out I actually had a pretty rare birth defect that placed my spinal cord under tension, and it was pulling on my nerves.”
Nathan made the choice to have the surgery last week.
“Surgery went well, but I won’t know how effective it was until later,” he reveals. “I’m in a decent bit of pain, but it’ll be worth it in the long run.”
Nathan added, “Right now I focus on recovery and getting my mobility back (with the help of my sexy walker). And to those living with constant, chronic pain: if you haven’t yet, please, please investigate. It took a long time to figure out what my deal was, but it was worth the effort. I never would have expected this issue, or that the solution would be so easy. You just never know!”
Nathan‘s wife, London, also shared a sweet message on Instagram about the ordeal. You can see that below!
Nathan Kress just can’t resist working with Nickelodeon.
The 25-year-old frequent Henry Danger and Game Shakers director is teaming back up with Nickelodeon Animated Studios for a brand new Netflix series.
Titled Pinky Malinky, Nathan voices JJ in the animated show. The fly-on-the wall reality show follows the life of Pinky, an infectiously positive hot dog living in the human world.
“YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!! It’s been too many years!” Nathan tweeted, after the news was announced. “Cannot wait for everyone to see what we’ve been cooking up. It’s madness.”
He adds, “But there’s also, like, good life-lessons, and friendship, and stuff. It’s gonna be a blast you guys. Check it out!!! Netflix, Aug 17th!”
