Nathan Sykes recently announced on Twitter that he has started vocal therapy following his throat surgery early last month.
“Had a vocal rehab session today. Slow and steady…” the singer wrote on Wednesday (May 15).

Nathan Sykes makes his way into a medical building on Tuesday afternoon (April 23) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 19-year-old The Wanted singer was attending a follow-up appointment after having throat surgery the week before.

A few days earlier, Nathan gave a thumbs up as he was wheeled out of a building following his surgery.

Earlier in the week, it was announced that Nathan would take an unforeseen hiatus from the band as he underwent surgery for a hemorrhaging vocal cord. Feel better, Nate!

Nathan Sykes is set to take an unforeseen hiatus from The Wanted as he undergoes throat surgery this Thursday (April 18) in Los Angeles.
The 19-year-old singer will reportedly have to rest his voice for about a month following the procedure.

“Our lil Nath has to go in for an op on his throat on his birthday to make him better so join us in wishing him well,” the group wrote on their Facebook page. “We love ya! #GetWellNath.”
The band’s E! reality series The Wanted Life is still set to premiere on June 2nd.
