Niall Horan joined his pal Ashe for a performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday night (November 11).
The pair performed their duet of her song “Moral of the Story” from the Royal Albert Hall in London.
“So happy I finally got to meet the lovely @ashemusic in person after all these months of chatting over FaceTime. We’re performing Moral Of The Story tonight on @latelateshow so make sure to tune in x,” Niall captioned a photo of them on Instagram.
“well isn’t that the goofiest photo i’ve ever seen of me in my entire life,” Ashe commented, adding, “i look like i just met santa”
She uploaded another photo on her own account, captioning it, “the pretty picture** tonight on @latelateshow with @niallhoran @j_corden”
The weekend before, Niall and Ashe put on a live concert at that same venue, and it was live streamed across the world.
The 27-year-old “Nice To Meet Ya” musician will perform live from the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday, November 7th, to raise funds for his touring crew and the #WeNeedCrew relief fund.
“I know that live events are something we all miss, and until we are able to return I want to highlight the incredible people who work in touring that make those events possible and whose livelihoods have been severely affected,” he said in a statement.
“I’m putting on this gig to try and raise awareness of the immense value they bring to an industry enjoyed by so many, and do something to help them and their families,” Niall continued. “I ask all my fans to support them with me and buy a ticket if you can, and I encourage all artists to do the same.”
Tickets for the concert will go on sale THIS Friday (October 16), and that is the only way you will be to catch the show, as it will not be available on demand after it’s over.
While telling fans about the injury back in August, Niall said, “I was chasing my cousin, missed the curb and went over on my ankle.”
“I snapped all the ligaments on the outside of my foot. I’ve got such ugly feet or I’d show the world how bruised it is,” he added (via Yahoo). “I was running drunk and in these new streets, you can drive down them and they’re also sometimes pedestrianized… so the curb looks the same as the actual drive-able road and there was a little curb.”
“Emotion filled day today. The love from around the world 10 years on is amazing. Thank you for your loyal support as always. Crazy what 5 normal guys can achieve. Proud Red heart #10YearsfOneDirection,” he shared on Twitter that day.
One Direction is continuing their 10th anniversary celebrations!!
The band just launched a 24 hour stream of their Where We Are Tour – Live from San Siro Stadium on their YouTube Channel. You can also watch it right here on JJJ.
The concert footage features all five members – Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan – performing some a bunch of their hits in Milan, Italy, and it will also play bonus DVD content. Be sure to catch it while you can because it will only be available until 3pm UK time on Wednesday (July 29)!
One Direction‘s music has also seen a huge surge in streams and sales since their anniversary date last Thursday (July 23).
Four of the guys’ albums re-entered the charts globally, including four albums in the US Billboard 200. On the anniversary day, there were also 55 million global streams of their music!
1D got a lot of listens on Spotify, as their music was streamed 47 million times, making them the most streamed artist on Spotify across the world.
Zayn Malik, who left the band in March 2015, has not spoken out about the momentous occasion.
Simon Cowell, who helped bring the group together on The X Factor, shared a short but sweet message.
“Today is a very special day. I was lucky enough to meet five guys. Who were so much fun. So talented. It feels like 10 minutes ago. And you made it happen,” he wrote.
To celebrate the milestone anniversary, the band released a special new video highlighting their career.
The video follows 1D from their early video diaries to releasing their latest single ‘History’, including clips from music videos, live performances and candid behind the scenes video content, as well as their special relationship with Directioners.
One Direction also launched a new website, 10YearsOf1D.com, but fans have crashed the site all day from the demand of them wanting to check it out. As of the time of this posting, the site is still down, and shows the hashtag #DIRECTIONERSBREAKTHEINTERNET on the screen!
Starting tonight (July 25), newly enhanced 4k versions of music videos from each album will be released, starting with “What Makes You Beautiful”.
