The 18- and 23-year-old actors were seen snapping a few funny pics during rehearsals earlier in the day before joining American Idol champ Nick Fradiani for the concert event.
The annual concert honors the military service and sacrifice of all our men and women in uniform, their families at home, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

The 29-year-old American Idol champ is in the Big Apple for a little press tour before getting ready for the upcoming American Idol tour.
“It’s pretty much going to be a lot of craziness,” he told USA Today. “I’m going to have to be creative and make the best record I can possibly make.”
Nick continued, “I’m going to be on tour for a couple months, I’ll perform at the World Cup and sing the national anthem at a bunch of places. It’s going to be a wild ride, but I couldn’t be more excited for it, to be honest with you.”

Season fourteen of American Idol just wrapped up on Wednesday (May 13) and a winner was chosen!
It all came down to Clark Beckham and Nick Fradiani after last night’s performances. Nick and Clark both gave it their all during some of their final performances of the evening on Tuesday (May 12).
Ultimately, one of the contestants was sent home and one was crowned the next American Idol!
