Alia Shawkat gets silly with Lucas Till in this cute shot from Teen Vogue‘s Young Hollywood 2009 featured in the October issue.
The 20-year-old upcoming actress dished to the mag on her upcoming roles in Whip It and The Runaways. Alia shared on breaking the hopes of press about how long she trained on skates for Whip It, saying, “People would ask how long I trained, and I had to say, ‘Oh, not at all.’ Breaking that news was a bummer.”
Alia will next star in The Runaways with Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, where she did learn how to play bass.

Sara Paxton and Nico Tortorella get cozy on a couch in this behind-the-scenes look at their new CW series, The Beautiful Life: TBL.
The cast opened up to ET about what’s to come in the series premiere. Sara revealed that her character, Raina Marinelli, has a girl crush on Mischa Barton‘s Sonja Stone. She shared, “My character actually really like’s Mischa['s character, Sonja]. In the first episode, my character books a Versace campaign and gives it to Sonja because she cares about her.”
Corbin Bleu also dished a bit about his character, Isaac’s, storyline. “The scene right here, it’s a Details photo shoot. My character Isaac is the featured model. The thing is that Isaac is such a city guy, he has no idea what he’s doing. The only reason he’s doing it is because he’s having a relationship with the creative executive [Jamie Murray].”

Sara Paxton keeps close to costar Nico Tortorella as they attend a special advanced screening of Spread at the UA East Hampton 6 in New York on Saturday afternoon (August 8).
The 21-year-old actress was also accompanied by her Beautiful Life costars Ben Hollingsworth and Jordan Woolley.
Sara also attended the screening for Spread in California while she was there for the TCA presentation of The Beautiful Life.

The upcoming series, also starring Nico Tortorella, Ashley Madekwe, Ben Hollingsworth and Mischa Barton, revolves around a group of models living together in a co-ed residence in New York City.
JJJ recently caught with Corbin on Disney’s Summer at Sea to chat about the show. He shared, “One of the writers, Adam Giaudrone, was actually a model growing up. He told me one time that in one day, he got told that he was too fat, too skinny, too tall and too short. In the same day at four different jobs. It’s like what do you do in that situation.”

TBL: The Beautiful Life costars Sara Paxton and Ashley Madekwe keep close together as they attend the NSF Clothing Project launch to benefit The Humane Society’s Stop Puppy Mills Campaign held at NYC’s Morgans Hotel on Wednesday evening (July 22).
The duo, plus their TBL costars Corbin Bleu, Ben Hollingsworth and Nico Tortorella, have all moved to NYC to start filming the first season on the CW series. Mischa Barton is currently still in California seeking medical treatment.
