Nikki Yanofsky shares the stage with Stevie Wonder at the 2013 Keep Memory Alive “Power of Love Gala” benefit held at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday night (April 13).

The 19-year-old musician was just one of many who stepped out for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health celebrating the 80th birthdays of mentor Quincy Jones and Sir Michael Caine.

“Though you don’t believe that they do, they do come true…,” Nikki wrote on Facebook with another pic of her with Stevie.

She continued, “My dream most certainly did!! I just had the honor of singing with my hero, Stevie Wonder as part of the KMA Power Of Love gala for Quincy Jones and Sir Michael Caine. I’ve never felt luckier or more blessed…. They say don’t meet your heroes. Well he’s lived up to everything I could ever have imagined and more #overjoyed ;) — with Stevie Wonder.”

Nikki Yanofsky sings out during the unveiling of Yorkdale’s Swarovski Crystal Wonderland in Toronto, Canada late last month.

The 18-year-old singer wowed the crowd with favorites “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer”, “Santa Claus is Coming To Town” as well as “Mr. Paganini.”

Nikki also sang “I Believe”, which put her in the spotlight after the 2010 Olympic Games that were held in Vancouver, British Colombia.

Yorkdale’s Swarovski Crystal Wonderland was inspired by a spectacular winter wonderland and features a sparkling forest full of beautiful iconic Canadian wildlife including polar bears, owls, moose, and deer along with Santa’s crystalized sleigh itself.

Nikki Yanofsky shares a laugh with mentor Quincy Jones for the Carole King Music Celebration held at the Dolby Theatre on Tuesday night (December 4) in Hollywood.

The 18-year-old Canadian singer tweeted just the day before, “Rehearsal for the @Carole_King tribute show for #thepaintedturtle today with @QuincyDJones !! Sooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!”

Nikki recently chatted with Yahoo!Music about her upcoming album and dished on just when we would be seeing it on shelves.

“I never like to commit to a specific date,” she dished. “I want it to be absolutely perfect before it’s released and I don’t want to get people’s hopes up with a day and then I find out there’s something I’m not completely happy with and have to change it. So I’ve just kept it kind of vague in that way just because I want to surprise people.”

Nikki Yanofsky wears a bright yellow tee as she catches a flight at Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Canada, on Friday afternoon (June 1).

The 18-year-old musician is currently on tour with Il Divo.

“I think it’s a cool match,” Nikki told the Toronto Sun. “It’s kind of like the old art forms of jazzy kind of things and classical kind of things mixed together, (the) roots of a lot of music.”

Nikki adds, “I’ll have to try new ways to captivate an audience that I’m sure are Il Divo fans. Maybe not everyone will know who I am there so it’ll be cool to get them to pay attention.”

Nikki Yanofsky sings it out as she performs at The Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada on Saturday night (April 21).

“Massey Hall is my first solo show officially as an adult,” the 18-year-old jazz singer recently told Toronto.com.

Nikki adds, “Massey Hall is going to be the start of a new look and new sound for me. I know from being an opening act there how cool it is particularly backstage. But this time the whole point of the Massey Hall concert is to bridge the gap between the jazz I do and contemporary music. The show is going back to how I started, when I was singing Motown before I got into jazz.”

Nikki Yanofsky hits the stage to sing a little tune for 2011 WE Day held at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Tuesday afternoon (September 27).

The 17-year-old tweeted after the taping, “I keep saying the same thing about We Day… #electrifying … Singing here was so inspiring #wow.”

While the special will air on October 1st, you can download another one of Nikki‘s songs — “I Dream in Pink” for Webkinz.

The special version of “I Dream in Pink” is a part of a wide-reaching campaign aiming to raise funds for breast cancer, and creators Ganz will donate specially-tagged Webkinz Pink Poodles to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

$2 from each sale of each pink poodle will also go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, which are available at Walmart and other retailers.

“I Dream in Pink” will be awarded as a FREE download to Webkinz members who register a new pink poodle and be on iTunes for a limited time.

What is your favorite book and why?
“The Perks Of Being A Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky is one of my favourite books because there’s some wit, some depth and I just think that the way it was written sucks you in and you feel like Charlie (the main character) is talking to you.

Why should everyone read it?
Everyone should read it because it tells an incredible story and it’s very very real.

What’s the first book you remember reading?
“Probably Green Eggs And Ham.” Dr. Seuss still stands as one of my favourite authors!!

Do you judge the book by its cover?
Sometimes (it’s human nature) a cover with an interesting exterior will draw me in but usually it’s the inside or backside cover that I’ll judge the book on.

How do you feel about all the books being made into movies?
I think that its great because it gives people who can’t read or just haven’t read some really great stories a chance to hear them and watch them unfold for themselves. Also, if the story is really that great I’m sure it will make a great movie!!
