Nikki recently chatted with Seventeen about what’s up next for her. She shared, “I’m going to Europe this summer and a U.S. tour is planned for October. I just want to touch people the way that music touched me. I hope that I can share good times with people without actually being there.”

The 16-year-old skatting singer dished on how long it took to make her debut album, saying, “It was a long process…about two years. But I’m really happy with it. [After this,] I’m going back to Montreal for a bit and then I’m off to Toronto to film my new music video.”

The 16-year-old singer wrote in the notes section of the video, “SO, just wanted to show you how crazy, hectic and FUN our Juno experience was this year. I got to meet so many great people including Drake and Justin Bieber as well as seeing K’naan, Michael Buble and Hedley again! Looks like fun.. eh? Well, it was. GO CANADIANS!”

Nikki Yanofsky flirts with the crowd as she makes an appearance on Much on Demand on Wednesday afternoon (April 21) in Toronto, Canada.
The 16-year-old Canadian singer recently participated in a live chat with The Globe and Mail.
When asked about her favorite song on her debut studio album, Nikki, she replied, “Well, I don’t really have one. Out of the covers though I think its ‘Sunny Side of the Street’ because we kinda took a classic and flipped it but out of the originals, I can’t choose! I guess top 2 would be ‘Never Make it on Time’ and ‘Grey Skies’. But that’s only because you’re makin’ me choose.”

The 16-year-old singer recently chatted with the NYPost about performing at the 2010 Olympics opening ceremonies, singing the theme song, “I Believe.”
Nikki shared, “I was shaking.. I said to the guys who were with me, â€˜In five seconds, the whole world will know who I am.â€™ Afterward, I cried for twenty minutes, I was so overwhelmed. My whole life changed.”
