NikkieTutorials made quite the revelation in her latest YouTube video!

While doing a makeup/trivia challenge with her fiance and best friend, the 26-year-old revealed she was almost cast in The Vampire Diaries.

The trivia question was, “Which American television show almost cast me to be part of their show?”

“I was almost cast as Meredith in The Vampire Diaries,” Nikkie answered. “That people is the truth. A couple of years ago when I was really young and just did a couple of Vampire Diaries makeup tutorials, the casting agency behind The Vampire Diaries contacted me through email and they were like, ‘Okay girl, we see that you’re a huge fan, we think you could be a perfect fit for Meredith.’”

“They basically sent me an entire scene. I had to film it, I had to reenact it. It was basically an audition tape. They loved what I did and they were talking about flying me out to Atlanta, Georgia, where they filmed the show,” she continued. “Basically everything was a go, we were looking at flights, we were looking at it all, and I told my mom, I was like, ‘Mom, I made it, I’m an actress, I’m flying to the US to pursue this career honey.’ And my mom was like, ‘Oh my god! I can’t believe this is happening to my daughter.’”

“Everything was a go until they asked for a last couple of details. They were like, ‘Can we just get your measurements for like the clothing, and can we just get like all this stuff to buy clothes and know how you line up with the actors,’” Nikkie went on. “As soon as I emailed them that I am 6’2″, maybe even 6’3″ at this point, never heard from them again. i’m guessing that my height, because the men on the show were so tiny, I’m guessing that it was the height that was a problem. But, never heard from them again!”

The part of Dr. Meredith Fell did eventually go to Torrey DeVitto in seasons three and four!

Putting the beauty world drama to the side, the 20-year-old gathered a group of beauty influencers to take on the Pass The Brush challenge.

“#PassTheBrush Beauty Guru Edition! 🎨💞 wanted to bring the community together during this time of being apart… we all send our love!! stay home & stay safe,” he captioned the video.

NikkieTutorials turned her fiance Dylan Drossaers into DylanTutorials!

In a new video, the 26-year-old beauty guru got to do Dylan‘s makeup for his first time ever.

At the beginning of the video, the couple, who got engaged in August of 2019, shared the sad news that they have had to postpone their wedding because of the pandemic, and won’t be getting married this year.

Nikkie also asked Dylan fan questions that were sent in and one of them was what look or style of makeup did he not like on her.

His response was that he didn’t like the darker, goth look. See which pic he used for reference right here!

Nikkie de Jager, aka NikkieTutorials, will be on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing TODAY (January 22)!

The 25-year-old makeup YouTuber sat down with Ellen to talk about her coming out video, the support from her mom and fiance, and hoping to inspire others.

“I remember uploading the video, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m gonna do it,’ and I started crying,” Nikkie shared. “And my fiance Dylan was right next to me, and he was like, ‘You can do it. You can do it.’ So he really pushed me to post it, and he was like, ‘We’re gonna get through this, you’re going to be okay. You’re gonna do this.’”

During her appearance, Ellen also surprised Nikkie with a $10k donation to The Trevor Project in her name.

NikkieTutorials is telling her truth to YouTube viewers for the first – she is transgender.

The 25-year-old makeup artist and beauty vlogger, whose real name is Nikkie de Jager, revealed that she was “born in the wrong body” and started identifying as a girl at age six.

“Filming this video scary, but it’s so liberating and freeing,” she said at the beginning of the video. “I’ve been wanting to share this side of myself to all of you for so long but I could never figure out the timing.”

When she was 14, Nikkie started hormones and used growth stoppers to prevent her from becoming taller. When she was 19 and while she was already making YouTube videos, Nikkie fully transitioned.

“Yes I am transgender,” she said. “But at the end of the day I am me.”

Nikkie revealed that she didn’t tell her fiance Dylan Drossaers her truth at first, but he knows now.

“Dylan and I, we clicked. And he didn’t know. He knows now. Dylan knows about my past, but I wish I told him sooner. Everything felt so magical, so good, that I was afraid to lose him if I were to tell my full story. At the point where I told him my full story, of course he was shocked, but that is a private matter that we’re dealing with and that I’m so proud of that we’re able to deal with,” she said.

Nikkie says the reason why she has come out on YouTube is because she was being blackmailed. “I am free, and today I get to be me,” she said.

NikkieTutorials is gushing over her now fiance Dylan!

In a new video uploaded to her YouTube channel, the beauty guru opened up about how she met her man, how he made her feel different, and their proposal story.

Nikkie shared that at first things didn’t kick off how she anticipated because, as she revealed, he kept his distance because he thought she was taken and dating her manager. After they got that all cleared up, and that she was single, their relationship really blossomed.

“We went on a few dates, just him and I. We went to the movies, we went bowling, we did a lot of stuff together,” she said. “I noticed one very important, vital thing that gave me such a good feeling. He made me feel so confident, and so beautiful, and so strong. He made me feel stuff about myself that I’ve never felt before. I’ve always been insecure, I’ve always been putting up this mask of confidence, but not always. Most of the time I didn’t believe in myself, and he just made me feel so damn good about myself.”

The YouTube beauty vlogger announced on social media that she just got engaged to boyfriend Dylan.

“YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. 🤯💍👰🏼🤵🏼💖✨,” she captioned images from the proposal, including one of her beautiful ring.

Nikkie and Dylan have been dating for over a year and he popped the question while the couple are vacationing in Italy.

“hi just having the best time here in Italy! that’s it. that’s the post. 🇮🇹💖✨,” she captioned another photo the day before with him kissing her on the cheek.
